SHERDOG MOVIE CLUB: Week 52 Discussion - North by Northwest

I would have to agree 100% with this, i was hoping i didn't remember the film at all, so i would enjoy it better, but as soon as that intro came on, it all came rushing in, which does take from the movie a bit. Of course the performances are fantastic, the writing is charming and witty...

SHERDOG MOVIE CLUB: Week 50 Discussion - Swiss Army Man

I saw this movie with my wife and she picked up on it instantly, i think her exact quote was "Even when dead, men still use their dicks as a compass" This is probably the best description of the movie. The movie exceeded my expectations, as i normally don't like fart humor at all, but in...

SHERDOG MOVIE CLUB: Let's pick the Week 51 movie!

Heavy Metal must of been the first cartoon i ever fapped to when i was a kid, in retrospect it could have been what started my passion for animation. on another note im loving these choices, so i'm gonna go with the one i haven't seen in a few years.

Ok finally got some time off from work. ok lets get in to this Im gonna haveto echo a lot of what @the muntjac had to say. Let me start off by saying i ussually dont like open ended films, because in my opinion i am paying to see a narrative and a conclusion to said narrative, so i am...

SHERDOG MOVIE CLUB: Let's pick the Week 48 movie!

I have to second this, it really becomes terrible. I don't think ive seen a show have such a great start, then do such a massive U-turn and become shit so quickly. i didnt make it to the end, but i saw clips of it.........and its really stupid.

Watch this documentary trailer and tell me if anything seems odd to you

Almost every shot seems to be a close up, the film itself at times does not look like a documentary, it seems very staged....... to be honest if you didn't say it was a documentary, i would of just thought it as a low budget drama.

SHERDOG MOVIE CLUB: Week 45 Discussion - Vertigo

So here goes my Vertigo review, better late than never. Vertigo is by no means an easy movie to watch, its not so much because its not good, but because ou have to be in the right mind set for it. i started watching it when i came home from seeing Jon Wick 2, and the pacing of the film became...

SHERDOG MOVIE CLUB: Week 44 Discussion - Rubber

I went in to the movie thinking it was going to be some weird throw back to 80s slasher flicks but with a tire instead. What i got is some sort of meta comedy(?) with some exploding heads thrown in. Im not sure what to think about it, i enjoyed it for what it was. The question that made me...

MNN (Trailer for Shark Thriller 47 Meters Down; Joe Johnston to Direct Narnia: The Silver Chair)

Da fuq? Robin Hood was in the crusades? plus didnt we already get a "gritty" Robin Hood with Rusell Crowe. Anyway i for one am wating for the Robin Hood Men in tights remake, atleast it would seem a bit more original than another fucking gritty robin hood.

TV Show Thread (Dark Crystal Prequel; The Witcher on Netflix; ABC, Fox's New Shows)

@Loiosh just watched the first 2 episodes of Fauda, That show is fucking intense and i love how its shot making it look like a semi documentary type, it just adds to the realism of it all, so far gets 10/10 would recommend.
