This is like the toughest hillbilly in town. Too tough for his own good. I don't see him as an elite level fighter, but he is going to be good for some fun fights. Him and Alvarez will be a war.
I see what you are saying. The hardcore fans want to see Conor defend his belt and fight the legitimate contenders, but the passive fans (far more of them then us) want to see the Mayweather fights, Paulie fights, Conor Diaz 7, conor vs a polar bear, etc.
I think it would look pretty similar to Conor/Nate. Conor has better skills so would touch up Nick early on, but as the fight progresses Nick would wear on Conor. More so then Nate could since Nick is bigger and probably better boxing.
LOL I have been quietly asking this to myself for weeks. He has an image that can be sold well. I still need to be sold on his fighting skills. He beats Tony, he is legit.
I think his personality didn't mix well with Dana's. Also, I see his first fight in the UFC drawing a lot of attention, but if he ends up just taking people down the entire fight casual fans would lose interest and he wouldn't sell well.
