Did something happen overnight? Who are all these newcomers and white belts and why are they all starting sh with the OGs? It feels like a civil war’s erupting in here
He renegotiated his contract prior to taking this fight. He also had fights left on his contract prior to renegotiating. I imagine he was compensated for doing the UFC a favor
For what it's worth, I've seen Ortega's last two fights live and as a fan, some of the shots he ate made me nervous but his resolve and durability is a lot more pronounced in person
I saw Ishihara in a parking lot back in Fresno for the Cub Ortega fight. I yelled his name from my car and he pointed and waved back at me. Cool guy, hope he wins.
Wish Choi was known more for his knockouts and less for getting beat up by Swanson. Feels like kind've a weird way they choose to market him as great as that fight was
I only caught it at +200 but Kang's biggest strength was Guido's biggest weakness so it was worth a stab for me. Was also pretty confident in Kang and wanted to make a play on him without paying the juice
