Hi hangulmalmotayo, I own a pair of BGV9s 14oz. (newer version) that I absolutely love, but now I am looking for a pair of lace ups. Do you think that the BGL7s are actually similar/the same in terms of construction? I have skinny hands but long fingers, and the 9s fit me nicely. Thanks!

Hi ThaiGae, are they that different? I also have the BGV9s (new model) and was looking to get a similar lace up option. You mentioned that the BGL7s are tougher on the hands... is it the padding? the lining? both? Structurally, are they similarly constructed?

I had the same experience. I think that TB design is very good because the cheek pads ends are very close to the nose so is still kind of covered. My experience is that after setting up the laces then is super easy to get it on and off. No help needed and great coverage without feeling...

I own a pair of Win1 from TopBoxer that are great for sparring. The Fairtex are great for the bag, I actually like them far better for that than my Win1s. But if you hit someone hard with those BGV9s... it is going to hurt. .
