Crime 2 teens in Florida get 21 days in juvie for plotting school shooting

Give them both 50 years minimum for conspiracy to commit mass murder. They need to be too old to do anything by the time they get out. These 2 will kill someone some day and the justice system coddling inmates instead of punishing them will be to blame.

I’m not sure what the appropriate criminal punishment should be. However, they have to be expelled from that school and banned from the property indefinitely. That’s the only way to keep kids safe when these kinds of threats are discovered.

Terrible description. They are being held for 21 days while prosecutors and the court decide what to do with them. They have not had a trial yet. The were just arrested a few days ago.

Title is a pretty big oversimplification of the status of the case

21 days is time for the court to figure out their charges/ bond, blah blah blah.
Its the first step. this is not the punishment
