Surprised Saudia is number 20 in tax revenues I assumed it’s mostly a low tax highly dependent on oil and gas economy.

11%+ of US GDP comes from the tech sector directly. Not surprisingly their exists favorable tax breaks in the Democrat’s biggest supporter and propaganda arm…

But in reality this metric is shit and means very little. Nice job not making a point anywhere in the OP

It is same with most countries with resources and state owned industries their tax rate for citizens is quite low or really low. The governments make $$$ off the state enterprises

In countries without such state industries they have no choice but to tax more or become some impoverished state that allows the rich to park wealth their.

But in retarded countries like the USA we have TONS of resources and could have tons of state owned and co operated industries and the Government could profit from those. However, instead we sell all mineral and resource rights and ownership to Chinese, Saudis, Russians, and other foreigners and allow people to privately own the wealth while also letting them lobby for lower taxes and to pollute the environment and then park their $$ overseas.

The end result is the idiot American is taxed more and more , and has his nations resources plundered by the rich

It seems like for the this graph the World bank excludes Payroll taxes such as Medicare/Social Security. I'm not sure why that would be, but when included the % of federal taxes to GDP is much higher than 10% in the US. That isn't even counting the inflation tax, as the US borrowed (i.e. printed) another 15% of our GDP in 2020 to balance the federal budget. Some countries (such as the US) are also set up as Republics, and State/Local share of taxes are higher than countries that are set up to be more centralized (see below). Not that there is no value in measurements that the World Bank did in the OPs link. It is just mis-leading, and can be like comparing apples to oranges in some cases.

They make their tax off the oil and gas. I belive this is all taxes, not just something like income tax.
