Draft Order:
http://www.tankathon.com/nfl

Let's get the shit posting going.
No NFL Combine this year, Pro Days will be more extensive.

I was able to watch a bunch of guys already.

My Tiers:
Tier 4-Flawed Players who have big Upside because of special Athletic or technical Traits.
Tier 5-Players with Big Flaws who could become contributors/speciality players
Tier 6-severely flawed players who have to fight/improve for a Roster Spot

Quarterbacks

Tier 1

Trevor Lawrence (Clemson)-Big and athletic.Very accurate.Anticipates routes. His WRs at Clemson weren’t the biggest seperators thus he had to throw into plenty tight windows.Has good Arm strength (not on the level of Mahomes,Allen). To me the safest QB prospect to come out of College since Andrew Luck at least.got overconfident sometimes and threw into double/triple coverage.

Tier 2

Zach Wilson (BYU)
Damn good Arm,great off platform thrower.Mahomes-esque on his Feet.Accurate all over the Field incl. tight windows.
Played behind the best non Power 5 O line at BYU.
Somewhat undersized.
Does ad lib and takes risks which sometimes led to turnovers/bad throws

Justin Fields (Ohio State)
Has a really good arm, great athleticism and is fairly accurate. He is a big Threat when running.
I don’t like his pocket presence. He scrambles way too long before going down.
Didn’t have to make a lot of tight window Throws at Ohio State, often just waited for his WRs to get open.Took forever to get off his first read.

Tier 3

Trey Lance (North Dakota State)
The Josh Allen of this Draft.High risk/High Reward.Has the strongest Arm in this Class.Really needs to work on his accuracy and mechanics.Made good Decisions on Throws.
The fastest QB in the Draft.Solid build.Great runner.

Mac Jones (Alabama)-Really accurate.Doesn’t have a big Arm.Is limited to 3rd&1 scrambles on his Feet.He did legitimately play great but the big asterisk is that he played in by far the most talented offense in College. The big Question will be what he does in an NFL offense that isn’t head and shoulders above the competition a la Alabama with Throwing windows getting much smaller. His decision making after getting off his first read was poor.Took the checkdown to many times even if he had an open guy downfield.

Tier 4

Kellen Mond (Texas A&M) Was the best QB at the Senior Bowl. Was a very hot-and-cold QB in terms of accuracy and decision making especially on long Passes.Hasn’t really improved much from his Sophomore year.I still think he could improve with a great offensive coach(system)

Davis Mills (Stanford)-Ideal size Pro Style QB.Average athletically.Doesn’t have much juice in his Arm but throws with touch.Got rid of the Ball quick.Still has technical issues to clean up.Threw some great intermediate Passes but was inconsistent on long passes.Underestimated the closing Speed of Deep safeties on Throws to the Post, thats where many of his INTs came from.Has Daniel Jones-esque pocket awareness.

Kyle Trask (Florida)-Had an absolute Breakout year with Kyle Pitts/Kadarius Toney. Was accurate on short-medium passes while inconsistent on long passes and improved technically. Is a pure pocket QB as he’s the Slowest QB in this class.(Roethlisberger-esque).Is occasionally late on throws.Draftniks think he’s got a weak Arm, i think it’s adequate with a 40-50yd Range.

Tier 5

Jamie Newman (Wake Forest/Georgia*)-Big and athletic.Played in a simple offense at Wake Forest.Opted out 2020 season after transfering to Georgia.Throws a good deep Ball.Seems to get confused often.Makes stupid decisions when his first read isn’t there.Takes way too much time in the pocket and invites Sacks.

Brady White (Memphis)-Did make his fair share of plays in a QB friendly offense. His throwing motion is lacking.substandard Arm

Shane Buechele (SMU/Texas)-Air Raid QB with accuracy issues on long throws.Mediocre Arm

Tier 6

Sam Ehlinger (Texas)-stocky and pretty athletic.Substandard arm strength.Has accuracy issues. His best plays were on scrambles and out of structure.I’d compare him with Gardner Minshew but Minshew is more accurate.

Ian Book (Notre Dame)-Pretty athletic.way too cautious, rather goes on long scrambles until a WR gets open.Has a weak Arm.Could run an NFL offense but his Arm is just too limited.

Feleipe Franks (Arkansas/Florida)-Ridiculous arm strength.Good on his feet.Completely idiotic decision making and accuracy that’s all over the place

Payton Ramsey (Northwestern/Indiana)-Decent athleticism, scrambling ablity, wildly inconsistent Thrower.Played in pretty terrible and limited offenses in college which gives him some upside

Collin Hill (South Carolina/Colorado State)-Prototypical size.Wasn’t helped by South Carolina’s terrible offensive scheme and outside WRs.Has an average Arm.Lacks accuracy, even on medium throws.

KJ Costello (Mississippi State/Stanford)-Big QB with a pretty big Arm.Never developed in college.Relied on 50/50 Balls.Constantly overthrew WRs.Never fixed his throwing motion.

Wide Receivers

Tier 1
Ja’Marr Chase (LSU)-Great route runner that gets separation..Great at manipulating CBs.Sure Hands.Great YAC abilities.Great release.Lacks Top end speed.

Jaylen Waddle (Alabama)-Henry Ruggs’ speed with better route running. Was Alabama’s #1 WR over Smith until he broke his ankle.Continually murders Defenses over the top.

Devonta Smith (Alabama)-very thin Marvin Harrison-esque frame.great route runner.Good-not-great speed.Sure Hands.Comes back to the Football to help his QB.

Tier 2

Rashod Bateman (Minnesota)-Doesn’t have Top end speed but continuously gets open.Runs good routes.Has a great release.Has decent Hands. He’s great after the catch.

Dyami Brown (North Carolina)-Dynamic Outside WR with really high upside.A good vertical route runner who can get off Press coverage.Has good speed (probably low 4.4)He did have his fair share of Drops.

Kadarius Toney (Florida)-Dante Hall-esque with the Ball in his Hands but a better route runner.Dropped a couple passes at the Senior Bowl but that wasn’t an issue during the season.

Elijah Moore (Ole Miss)-Feasted in Lane Kiffin’s system. His route running is mediocre.Has good Hands.Great with the Ball in his Hands. Can cut on a Dime.

Rondale Moore (Purdue)-Maybe the most dynamic player in this class. Was primarily used around the LOS to run screens,Jet sweeps.Has amazing YAC abilities. He can beat Defenses deep though. Not sure if he can be a consistent slot WR.

Tier 3

Dazz Newsome (North Carolina)-The best route runner in this Class.Slot WR with the ability to beat Defenses Deep. Can cut on a dime.Had some good work at the LOS

Terrace Marshall (LSU)-Took over for Justin Jefferson in the slot at LSU.Got fed a lot of targets.Did have his fair share of Drops. He does lack Top end speed.Runs nice routes to get open.Prjects better as an outside WR.

Jaelon Darden (North Texas) -Small WR.Fast and an absolute weapon with the Ball in his Hands. His contact balnce could be better. His route tree was limited to go/post and slants. Was used a lot in Bubble screens and as a Decoy.

Austin Watkins (UAB)-Outside WR with a solid Build.Adjusts really well to the Ball and is great at the catchpoint.A really smart route runner who gets open despite a lack of Top End Speed.Big upper and lower Body Strength.Sammy Watkins First Cousin.

Amon-Ra St.Brown (USC)-A good route runner with good Hands. Not sure if he’ll succeed as an outside WR in the NFL,probably will work best out of the slot. Not as fast as a guy his size might be expected to be.

Armani Rodgers (Clemson) -Stocky Slot WR who looks like he could also play RB.More agile than his weight suggests.Great at finding open Zones in coverage.Really nice route runner.Decent Hands.

Cade Johnson (South Dakota State)-Quick WR who could be use all over the field with his Speed.Runs really nice routes.Impressed at the Senior Bowl not just against FCS competition.

D’Wayne Eskridge (Western Michigan)-Probably projects as a slot WR in the NFL.Really good YAC guy, always a Threat to take a Slant to the House. He's fast.Struggled against press, which limits him as an outside Threat.Had subpar Hands, catches a lot with his Body.

Shi Smith (South Carolina)-Slot WR.Victim of the terrible offense that Muschamp ran at South Carolina.Got fed a ton.Runs really nice routes.Scrappy.

Tier 4

Josh Imatorbhebhe (Illinois/USC)-Freakishly athletic with a ridiculous vertical Leap. Was great snatching the Ball out of the Air and is a YAC threat. His route running has gotten better but it still far from great, same goes for his Release. He seemed confused at times like he didn’t know what route to run or what the play call was. He’s a really nice Blocker too.

Tamorrion Terry (Florida State)-Long Outside WR.Still a very raw route runner but electric with the Ball in his Hands.Has really fast Long Speed and can burn Defenses deep. Had no Problems making catches even in Traffic and with upcoming Hits.Could project to being a Big play Threat in the NFL.

Dez Fitzpatrick (Louisville)-Outside WR with a good physical Profile.Has solid Hands.Won with his route running especially with his quick Release. Was a good YAC Threat. Was a good Blocker.Lacks Top End Speed.

Tylan Wallace (Oklahoma State)-Great at the catchpoint.Speed is good.Ran a very limited route tree.Absolutely sucked getting off Press coverage.

"Tutu" Atwell (Louisville)-The most undersized guy in this WR class.Fast as Hell. Can take the top of Defenses and needs the Ball to make plays YAC.Not sure if he can handle all the work in the slot.Hasn't really shown any route running technique.Had Problems with Drops.

Brennan Eagles (Texas)-Looks like a poor Man’s AJ brown.Physical route runner.Gets open despite a lack of Top end speed. Can work in the slot and outside.

Dax Milne (BYU)-Have you heard this before ? White WR who lacks top end speed and runs really nice routes and has good Hands.Zach Wilson’s favourite target on medium and long throws.NFL Teams will probably move him to the slot.

Marquez Stevenson (Houston)-Speedy WR (should be around 4.40).Probably projects to the Slot in the NFL.Has improved his release.Deadly on Deep routes.Tracks the Ball well.Had difficulties getting off Press.Had 3 of his seasons shortened by bigger Injuries.

Simi Fehoko (Stanford)-Big WR.Played outside and in the slot.Has good Long Speed and YAC ability and can win contested catches.Struggled to get off physical CBs.Had inconsistent Hands.

Blake Proehl (East Carolina)-Really interesting guy with a good athletic profile.Played mostly outside WR.Runs really good routes but needs a quicker release.Had very sure Hands.Reminds me a lot of Adam Thielen.Needs to get better vs. press coverage

Tier 5

Josh Palmer (Tennessee)-Stocky,physical WR.Struggles to separate. One of the best in this class at tracking the Ball and being first at the catchpoint.Showed some nice Hands.

Nico Collins (Michigan)-Big Outside WR.Does a good job boxing out Defenders and has sure Hands.A decent route runner but his lack of Speed is evident.

Cornell Powell (Clemson)-Was not a good route runner who lacks Top End Speed.Did great at the catchpoint creating space with his Body.I’d probably think about moving him to the slot as a physical presence.

Antonio Nunn (Buffalo)
-Lined up outside and in the slot.Looks like a poor Man’s Antonio Brown.Has good Hands.Tracks the Ball well and does well on contested catches.Has quick Feet and very good stop-and-start ability. Was a lot more successful in the Middle rather than outside.Had Problems getting off Press coverage.

Jacob Harris (UCF)-Outside WR with TE length.Outstanding Athletic profile.Could actually get open outside though his route running needs improvement. Was a really good Blocker.Needs to get better against Press coverage.

Connor Wedington (Stanford)-Played outside and in the slot.Has a great athletic profile.Has great Hands and catches the Ball well in traffic.Ran himself open when covered.Stanford’s offense didn’t run a lot of long-developing routes. Not much of a nuanced route runner. Not a good Blocker.Projects best to a slot WR.

Seth Williams (Auburn)-Physical WR who can’t separate and lacks Top end speed..Uses his Body well to create some space to catch passes, making the catches a little less contested.

Anthony Schwartz (Auburn)-Fast WR.Used behind the LOS,in the slot/screens and occasional go routes.Terrible Route runner.Needs to develope a ton technically but his freakish Speed is a good Base to work from.

Jalen Camp (Georgia Tech)-Big WR with ridiculous athleticism.Has great long speed.Positions his Body well to shield for the catch.Had inconsistent Hands.Has next to no route running technique.Wasn’t effective at getting off Press coverage.

Osirus Mitchell (Mississippi State)-Long outside WR, Basketball body type.Has really good long speed but his long Limbs limit his release and change-of-direction.Has shown good YAC abilities. Not that good in contested catch situations despite being tall.Runs too upright which makes it harder for him to fake out DBs.

Whop Philyor (Indiana)-Slot WR.Got a lot of work on Bubble screens and at the LOS in general. Can make Defenders miss after the catch. Can turn on a Dime. Was good at the catchpoint.Didn’t face any Press coverage in college.

Damonte Coxie (Memphis)-Got fed a ton of Targets.Struggles to separate but manages to get himself in good position to make catches.Comes back to the Ball.

Tier 6

Warren Jackson (Colorado State)-Tall outside WR who regularly took snaps in the slot.Limited as a route runner because of his Height. Was really good at the catchpoint and as a Target on contested catches and the red zone.

Frank Darby (Arizona State)-Played outside WR.Plays competitive and physical.Isn’t afraid to work in traffic. There isn’t really anything exceptional about him neither Speed nor Route running or even Hands. His skillset is better suited as a Bigger Slot WR.

Jonathan Adams (Arkansas State)-Gets ridiculous Highlight Catches but his Route running just isn’t good.Gets lead to the sideline to easy (by Sun Belt CBs) and just lacks Speed and can't seperate.

Sage Surratt (Wake Forest)-Slow and packed with inconsistent Hands. His real speciality is YAC but him catching balls will be the true challenge.

TJ Vasher (Texas Tech)-Tall and lanky outside WR.Was good for 1 highlight catch/game.Has good long speed. His long limbs obviously give him Problems with his routes as he can’t shift his weight all that easy and i don’t think that changes much in the NFL.Possible Big Play WR in the NFL.

Tyler Vaughns (USC)-Played outside last season but will probably move to slot WR in the NFL.He runs substandard routes and surprisingly lacks Speed at his lighter weight. His release looked slow too and he was toast against Press coverage..He tracks the Ball really well and has good Hands. Also has good contact Balance giving him a Chance for YAC.

Ben Skowronek (Notre Dame/Northwestern)-Outside WR.Has long limbs which hinders his route running but benefits him with his long Speed.Really struggled to get off Press. Can be dangerous if he’s allowed to pick up Speed.A really good Blocker

Marlon Williams (UCF)-Big slot WR who got fed a ton of targets.Just doesn’t look quick enough to be a consistent Threat in the NFL.Was productive in college

Damon Hazelton (Missouri/Virginia Tech/Ball State)-Looked like a poor Man’s Keenan Allen. Not a speedster but good with the Ball in his Hands and a decent route runner.Transferred twice in College.Looked physically smaller in 2020 and didn’t have a good season.

Javon McKinley (Notre Dame)-Played outside and in the slot (matchup based).Had inconsistent Hands.Lacks Speed and didn’t create Separation on the outside and wasn’t dominant enough on contested catches. His routes look o.k.Is a pretty good Blocker.

Jhamon Ausbon (Texas A&M)-Lined up outside and sometimes in the slot.Tries to get himself open when he’s covered.Couldn’t separate at all and couldn’t get off Press.Had good Hands.A very ordinary Prospect.

Trevon Grimes (Florida)-Big outside WR who lacks physicality. He struggles to separate and to win contested catches. His hands looked iffy.

Ihmir Smith-Marsette (Iowa)-Fast WR who struggles to get off Press and has terrible Hands and eye coordination. His routes are also disappointing.

Isaiah Mckoy (Kent State)-Has pretty good straight line speed and got a ton of Targets.Has serious route running issues and profited from a lot of bad Press coverage Corners.Had trouble adjusting to the Ball in the Air and had a lot of Drops

Racey McMath (LSU)-Big outside WR.His size helped him when he had the Ball in his Hands. He’s a good Blocker. He’s slow, a bad route runner.Has Bad Hands too.The worst WR i’ve watched in this class.

Eli Stove (Auburn)-Lined up all over the LOS.Has decent Hands.Ran a very limited route tree, usually just underneath routes outside and in the slot.Subpar athlete.

Tre Walker (San Jose State)-Played outside and in the slot.Bad combination of Small size and no athleticism or agility.Benefitted from a combination of busted Zones coverage, bad tackling and a lot of Targets.Had to rely on getting contested catches.I see no way how he gets on the Field in the NFL.

Offensive Tackle

Tier 1
Penei Sewell (Oregon)-Opted out in 2020.The best Tackle talent to come out of College since Jake Long .Was great in all areas even as a Freshman.Big and Athletic as hell.

Tier 2
Rashawn Slater (Northwestern)-2020 opt out.Not quite as massive as Sewell. The quickest OT in this class.Gets to the 2nd level ridiculously fast.Played great against good competition incl. Chase Young. His Arms are on the shorter side.

Christian Darrisaw (Virginia Tech)-The Riser in this class.Had the best 2020 season of all OTs.Smilar to Slater especially in run blocking.Gets to the 2nd level really quick.Perfect for an outside Zone Blocking scheme.

Tier 3

Liam Eichenberg (Notre Dame)-One of the most technically proficient Tackles in this class. Was great in all areas.Notre Dame’s development of Offensive Linemen is second to none in College.
The big concern is his Size at 300lbs.

Sam Cosmi (Texas)-Very experienced.Played well throughout.Has good size.A better Pass blocker than run blocker. If he allowed pressure it was usually from Power rushers.

Dillon Radunz (North Dakota State)-On the lighter side for a Tackle.was the best Tackle at the Senior Bowl 1-on-1s showing he can compete with future NFL guys, not just FCS competition..Was a really good Run Blocker. His pass blocking was nice too.

Walker Little (Stanford)-His big concern is a lack of play.Had a season-ending injury in his first game of 2019.Opted out in 2020.His game tape looked good though. He might have the best Hand technique in this class.Didn’t allow pressure once he got his Hands on a pass rusher. If he lost it was usually by speed rushers. His worst game was against Notre Dame in 2018.

Alex Leatherwood (Alabama)-Has ideal size and played well against SEC competition.Had problems with penalties but cleaned that up in his Senior year.
Had a bad Senior Bowl in which he just looked slow and plodding, granted that was a small sample size but concerning..Might move to Guard eventually.

Brady Christensen (BYU)-Along with Darrisaw the biggest riser in 2020.Looked damn good in all Areas. The only knock against him is the lack of top pass rushers on BYUs schedule (He did face Tarron Jackson,Cam Sample & Payton Turner who’ll be drafted).

Teven Jenkins (Oklahoma State)-The meanest Mofo in this class.Always looking for a pancake.Drives pass rushers back on the reg.His Hand technique needs improvement as he struggles to get his Hands on a rusher sometimes, that’s usually how he loses.Had a back and forth Battle with Joseph Ossai vs. Texas

Jalen Mayfield (Michigan)-Has really quick Feet that get him into position.Used to get too wide to pass block but he seemed to have fixed that last season. Was a really good run blocker who can cover some space.Has faced a good amount of NFL pass rushers while in college.
Only started 15 games in college because he opted out after 2 games in 2020.His Arms look a little short.Would make a good Guard if he doesn't work out at Tackle.

Spencer Brown (Northern Iowa)-An absolute Giant at 6’9.Was utterly dominant vs. FCS competition.Wasn’t even remotely challenged. Is great at getting to the 2nd level.Looked o.k. at the Senior Bowl but i definitely noticed a step up in competition. His Height does present some problems as far as potentially getting outleveraged.Speed rushers could get him as he’s not the most fleet-footed Tackle.

Tier 4
Jackson Carman (Clemson)-Huge Left Tackle.Has really good play on Tape.I just don’t think he’s fast enough to play Tackle in the NFL.Will prob end up at Guard eventually and can be really good there.

Larry Borom (Missouri)-Quietly played very solid at Missouri.Technique looks good, just not an Athlete.Had a couple issues when things get really fast or chaotic.

Brenden Jaimes (Nebraska)-Was a good run Blocker who got to the 2nd level quickly.Had Rock solid play as a Pass Blocker despite not having the quickest Feet or outstanding athleticism.

Tier 5

Stone Forsythe (Florida)-Has great Length and athletic Profile. His long Arms basically made him impervious to stab techniques by Pass rushers and they give him a lot of Leverage when blocking.Doesn’t have a killer instinct as he often didn’t play to the whistle/let off Blocks early, especially in run blocking.Tended to miss a lot of Blocks as a lead Blocker.Could fill out his Frame more. His Footwork is sloppy and slow.Lost a lot when he blocked wide and got hit with chop moves, giving up the Edge.

Landon Young (Kentucky)-Ideal Tackle size with a great athletic Profile. Was a really good Run Blocker in a Zone scheme.Has ideal Arm length that gives him leverage in pass protection.struggled to anchor when he got driven back.Tended to leave his chest Plate open which Edge rushers took advantage of.Really struggled against Azeez Ojulari where he got hit with Chop,Rip and stab moves.

Kayode Awosika (Buffalo)-His Technique looks a little awkward.Played in a really run heavy offense. Was a great Inside Zone run blocker.Good pass blocker too.Lack of great competition in the MAC is the main worry.Has shorter Arms, which might limit him to Guard

Jaylon Moore (Western Michigan)-Was a really well-rounded Run and Pass Blocker.Quick on Zone runs.Did get occasionally beat by Speed off the edge.

Carson Green (Texas A&M)-Big Tackle. Was a great Zone Run Blocker (one of the best in this class.Has long Arms and didn’t allow pressure if he got his Arms on Rushers..His Footwork looked raw.Wasn’t able to anchor in Pass pro.Let to many rushers get into his Chest.Struggled against Speed.Plate.Could profit from moving to Guard.

Robert Hainsey (Notre Dame)-Was all over the place in pass blocking.Looked good vs. Clemson, got murdered by Rashad Weaver.Too inconsistent to be a high round pick. He’s a good run blocker.Played Center snaps at the senior Bowl where he looked pretty natural.

Will Fries (Penn State)-Played Tackle & Guard. Was a good Zone Run Blocker.Showed o.k. Athleticism.Dealt well with Speed Rushers.Had Problems with giving up his chest Plate which led to ugly losses. His Kick out and Hand usage still need to improve, which is worrying considering he played a lot of games in college.

James Hudson (Cincinnati)-Converted Defensive tackle. He’ll have to work on his Technique.Hands and Feet are not ready.Athleticism,Potential and size is there.

Alaric Jackson (Iowa)-One of the best run blockers in the class.Serious issues with speed rushers and has issues getting his Hands on people.

Tommy Doyle (Miami/Ohio)-Big Tackle.Converted Hockey player. Is still really raw with his Technique but has improved.Light on his Feet and a great Zone run Blocker.Needs to add strength.Had trouble dealing with Bend-y pass rushers.

D’Ante Smith (East Carolina)-Light OT with a ridiculous wingspan.Would probably translate best to a Zone scheme as he’s athletic and super quick getting to the 2nd level. In pass blocking he has issue with his Footwork and the usage of his long Arms needs to be improved too.A project

Tier 6

Josh Ball (Marshall/Florida State)-Big,Tall Tackle.Has light Feet which come in handy in run Blocking. His Long Arms give him an Edge in Pass Pro too as it’s difficult for rushers to get to his Hips.He did struggle against Speed Rushers and guys who could dip and bend. He’s not very powerful either. Was accused of domestic violence by an ex girlfrien which is why he had to Transfer.

Cole Van Lanen (Wisconsin)-Experienced Run Blocker. Is pretty good in that Area and has power off the line..His short Arms give him Problems in Pass Pro as he lets Rushers get into his chest plate and shoulder Pads. His Athleticism is limited too.

Dan Moore (Texas A&M)-A very good Run Blocker in college. Was pretty solid in Pass Pro.Struggled with his Footwork in pass pro and against speed rushers.

Cordell Volson (North Dakota State)-Was a good run Blocker, would be best as a Guard for a Zone run Blocking scheme.Looked slow getting out in pass protection.Tended to collapse with his upper Body
when trying to anchor.Couldn’t put up athletic testing numbers because he played the spring season.

Chandon Herring (BYU)-Tall.Played Tackle & Guard.Has a really good athletic Profile. Was a really good Run Blocker.Couldn’t really anchor in Pass protection.Looked slow getting to the Edge. Was susceptible to Stab & chop moves.Looked a little better at Guard than at Tackle.

Royce Newman (Ole Miss)-A really good Zone Run Blocker who gets fast to the 2nd level.Does have Strength Problems in Pass Pro as he couldn’t anchor and got constantly driven back. His relatively short Arms are worrying too.

Robert Jones (Middle Tennessee State)-Has good size.Experienced in a Zone run scheme.Looked solid when he set his Feet but against undersized Conference USA pass rushers..Has really bad Feet.Is slow and jumpy when kicking out.Got caught off balance too easy.Occasionally missed defenders when lead Blocking and they slid through for a TFL.

William Sherman (Colorado)-Seemed to have some strong Hands when he got his grip on rushers. Not as athletic as i’d want a 300lbs. Tackle to be.Looked really slow when kicking out in pass Pro.Couldn’t anchor and has dodgy Footwork in general.Looked subpar in run blocking.

Adrian Ealy (Oklahoma)-Looks like a no-hoper.Not athletic,no technique.Just a big guy you can put at Tackle in College

Interior Offensive Line

Guard

Tier 1

Alijah Vera-Tucker (USC)-Versatile Guy.Played Tackle and Guard.I think he’ll do better at Guard.Speed rushers seemed to be his only issue when he did get beat at Tackle.Could play Guard and Tackle.Good pass blocker, mean run blocker and gets ridiculously quick to the 2nd level.

Tier 2

Ben Cleveland (Georgia)-Huge Mountain of Muscle.Unmovable in pass protection. blocking. His run blocking wasn’t that hot due to a lack of quickness at that size.

Trey Smith (Tennessee)-Decent chance that he’s the No.1 Guard.Didn’t show any weakness with his Game.I think he could excel at Tackle too.Had a major health scare with re-ocurring Bloodclots in his Lungs.

Wyatt Davis (Ohio State)-great Zone run blocker.Mostly did a good job in pass protection.Had Problems with Bull rushes driving him back and stunts tended to get him often.

Tier 3

Sadarius Hutcherson (South Carolina)-Has played on a really good Level for 2 years now.A really good pass blocker.Wasn’t a particularly effective run blocker.missed a few pass blocking assignments.

Jack Anderson (Texas Tech)-Was the biggest surprise while watching his gametape.Incredibly well-rounded.Has great Hands. Can defend power & speed rushers despite being on the lighter side for a Guard.Played well at the Senior Bowl too.

Deonte Brown (Alabama)-Bowling Ball meat package.Looked good at Alabama sandwiched between Leatherwood & Dickerson. He’s slow as hell which is why he got torched at the Senior Bowl 1-on-1s.
I think his lack of technique and quickness will be hard to overcome in the NFL but he'll be hard to move by Bull rushing DTs.

Tristen Hoge (BYU)-Years of good play at Guard in run and pass Blocking.Could work at Center as well.Is older already because of the mormon mission. Is a very average athlete.

Tier 4

Aaron Banks (Notre Dame)-A really good run blocker.Pass blocking was all over the place.Played off balance a lot.Quickness isn’t really there.

Tommy Kraemer (Notre Dame)-Tall Guard. Was a + Run Blocker but not much of a 2nd level Blocker..A solid Pass Blocker but he did have Problems with some Power rushers as he doesn’t anchor well and on Stunts with fast Rushers coming through.

Tier 5

David Moore (Grambling State)-Big and Unathletic.Almost square frame.Has short Arms which get him lunging a lot.Seems pretty strong and loves to pancake dudes.I don’t see it.

Tier 6

Jake Curhan (CAL)-Another big guy that lacks Technique and speed.Needs to get his Hands on Defenders and use his size.Couldn't deal with Speed and looked plodding.

Center

Tier 1

Landon Dickerson (Alabama)-Came over from Guard.Fairly tall for a Center but he knows how to play low.Plays like a real asshole.Doesn’t get moved.Takes on stunts and picks up rushers really well. When he lost reps it was to a blitzing LB or by playing too high.Had injury problems in college, tore his ACL in December)

Tier 2

Trey Hill (Georgia)-Huge Center who could easily move to Guard. Unmovable by Power Rushers in pass protection.Didn’t see him lose a single rep.As a run Blocker he’s serviceable in a Gap run scheme but didn’t stand out and his movement is limited compared to the 300lbs. Zone Centers.

Creed Humphrey (Oklahoma)-Despite being 6’5 he gets low in his stance and anchors to withstand bull rushes. Most of his issues were against technically sound and fast 3-Techs.

Tier 3

Josh Myers (Ohio State)-Absolutely moved people with his Run Blocking. His pass Blocking was mostly good but he was vulnerable against Stunts (took to long to recognize them) and missed a couple Blocking assignments leading to QB pressure.

Kendrick Greene (Illinois)-Mostly played Guard in College but he’ll probably be better off at Center.Massively improved from 2019 to 2020.Moves very quick and would be best for a Zone running scheme.Anchors well and gets under DTs.Got taken for a ride a couple times by Power rushers where his lighter weight became really obvious at Guard.

Drake Jackson (Kentucky)-Great inside Zone run blocker in a run heavy offense.Looked decent in pass protection but a lack of power is noticeable. it could be his Achilles heel in the NFL.

Michal Menet (Penn State)-Experienced Center.A really good Zone Run Blocker in college and was great getting to the 2nd level.Didn’t have a lot of 1-on-1 pass blocking snaps.Does seem to have a strength deficiency which became apparent on Bull rushes. His Arms look rather short.

Quinn Meinerz (Wisconsin-Whitewater)-Division 3 Guard but really projects more as a Center.Needs to work on his snaps and getting out of his Stance.I like how he anchors and he plays nice and low.

Tier 4

Ryan McCollum (Texas A&M)-Held up well against power rushers despite playing with a high pad level.Recovered well when he lost on Blocks.Really good run Blocker.Struggled with speed and delayed rushes.Needs to process quicker. Not the most athletic Center.

Tier 5

Drew Dalman (Stanford)-Center who is on the light side. Was a pretty good mover on Zone runs and loved to take Defenders on a ride to the sideline.A lack of power (and weight) is evident on Pass Blocks where he can’t seem to anchor and gets driven back to easily.

Jimmy Morrissey (Pittsburgh)-Looked good in pass protection.Nothing outstanding about him though. No run blocking whatsoever. No real power.

Tight End

Tier 1

Kyle Pitts (Florida)-TE that can line up at every receiving WR position. The best Athlete in this TE class. Not that terrible of a Blocker either though letting him block instead of running routes would be a waste of a snap.

Tier 2

Pat Freiermuth (Penn State)-Middle class Gronk ? Great Blocker with great Size.Runs good routes and has good Hands. The Speed is o.k. for his size.

Brevin Jordan (Miami)-slightly undersized TE.Has improved as a route runner.Great with the Ball in his Hands.Wasn’t a terrible Blocker.

Hunter Long (Boston College)-Lacks speed but he has good size and is an intelligent route runner that finds open spots in Zones.

Tommy Tremble (Notre Dame)-The best Blocking TE in this class.Could fill the Kyle Juszczyk role too.Just needs a proper OC to take advantage of it and see his potential.

Tier 3

Matt Bushman (BYU)-An experienced Blocker and a good Athlete.Runs pretty nice routes and is a YAC threat and displayed good Hands.Wasn’t all that dominant on contested catches.Like many BYU guys he is older already because of his Mormon missionary mission.

Jack Stoll (Nebraska)-Pretty athletic TE with stout build. Was a really good, experienced in-line Blocker.Has some quickness to him in the passing game though his routes need work.Had to endure some Hospital passes by his QBs.Only average length for the Position. His Hands looked average.

Tier 4

Tre McKitty (Georgia/Florida State)-Receiving TE.Has really nice YAC abilities.Decent route runner and athlete.Good at working the middle of the Field. Is kind of a Body catcher. Is not a good Blocker.

Kylen Granson (SMU)- Way undersized as a TE but he’s a good route runner and has good Hands.Pure Receiving TE.

John Bates (Boise State)-Good size TE.Was a good Zone run Blocker.Has good Hands and can snatch the Ball high.Needs to improve his routes as he had a slow release and lost too much speed when cutting.

Nick Eubanks (Michigan)-Has good size.Athletic potential. Was a really good run Blocker but lacking as a pass blocker.Had subpar Hands. Was limited by Michigan’s offensive scheme which almost ignores TEs as pass catchers.

Kenny Yeboah (Ole Miss)-Decent Blocker.Good size.Got a lot of open targets in Lane Kiffin’s scheme.
His routes are lacking. Can't really separate.

Ben Mason (Michigan)-Athletic FB.Mainly used as a Blocker and on Special Teams.Has shown promising skills as a pass catcher despite Michigan’s limited usage of him.I think he has a lot of potential for Teams using him in a Kyle Juszczyk role.

Miller Forristall (Alabama)-undersized at barely 235lbs but with good Height.A damn good Blocker at his weight.Alabama even used him as a lead blocker. He has absolutely no athleticism and that really kills him at 235lbs.A bad route runner too.

Shaun Beyer (Iowa)-Most snaps as a Blocker with a couple snaps as a Receiver. Was a really good Blocker.Had some good Hands. His routes and his Speed didn’t look that hot.

Tier 5

Luke Farrell (Ohio State)-Pure Blocking TE in College. Was a phenomenal Blocker in all Areas.Has a decent Athletic Profile. Was a complete afterthought as a Pass catcher behind Jeremy Ruckert. Was rarely targeted.Ran a simple route Tree.

Tony Poljan (Virginia)-Converted QB.Has great Size but he looks goofy running routes and unathletic.A terrible route runner. Was a really good Blocker.

Quintin Morris (Bowling Green)-WR with Baby Fat.Could find space in Zone coverage.Had good Hands and has decent YAC abilities.A really good Run Blocker but a bad Pass Blocker.Ran very simple routes and wasn’t even that good at those.Subpar Athlete.

Dylan Soehner (Iowa State)-Big, lumbering TE.Was mostly a Blocking TE while running some checkdown routes.Has Bricks for Hands.Limited athleticism.A pure Blocker.

Tier 6

Noah Gray (Duke)-Pure receiving TE.Ran a simple route Tree.Has good Hands.Has no exceptional Skills.Lacked strength in the Blocking department.

Hunter Kampmoyer (Oregon)-Receiving TE.Showed decent Hands.Has subpar athleticism.Ran very simple routes. Was used occasionally as a Blocker but has no real power base there. Is pretty old already.

Cary Angeline (North Carolina State/USC)-Ideal size TE.Tracked the Ball well and has good Hands. Is a subpar Athlete and a bad route runner. Most of his catches came on trick plays or when he sat down and found open spots in the Zone. Was rarely used as a Blocker and was awful when he had to Block.

Running Back

Tier 1

Javonte Williams (North Carolina)-Has a magical ability to get past Tacklers.Great Contact Balance and vision. Also a receiving weapon.Lacks Top end speed.

Travis Etienne (Clemson)-One cut Runner.Ridiculously fast straight line speed.Has great value as a pass catcher out of the backfield.Sure Hands. His vision and lateral abilities to evade Defenders are lacking a bit.

Michael Carter (North Carolina)-Javonte Williams’ partner-in-crime.Smaller and stockier build.Could handle #1 RB workload.Top level rushing abilities and good as a receiving RB.

Najee Harris (Alabama)-Big and ridiculously athletic.Has been a really good RB but he’s not the tackle breaker that guys like Williams & Carter have been.He also played behind the best O line in college Football in the last 3 years.Decent pass catcher.

Kenneth Gainwell (Memphis)-Fast RB who runs harder than his size suggests.Forces missed tackles with his agility.Wasn’t featured much in the passing game but i think can be really good there too.

Tier 2

Rhamondre Stevenson (Oklahoma)-Incredibly agile for his size.Looks incredibly fleet-footed at 230lbs.Can actually make guys miss and looked pretty solid catching passes.

Khalil Herbert (Virginia Tech)-Patient Zone RB with great burst and a real receiving upside (was underused there). Struggled with pass blocking.

Tier 3

Demetric Felton (UCLA)-Could (probably will) play Full Time Slot WR in the NFL.By far the best pass catcher in this RB class.Great route runner.Good speed.Could double as a #2RB & Slot WR in a creative offense.

Larry Rountree (Missouri)-Reminds me a lot of Alvin Kamara in terms of rushing style but was almost never used in the passing game.Has good contact Balance.

Jaret Patterson (Buffalo)-Bowling Ball of a RB.Tough to bring down because of his lower mass of gravity.Maurice Jones-Drew-esque but not with any Top end speed. Was not involved in the passing game.Ran behind a really good run blocking O Line

Trey Sermon (Ohio State)-Good-not-great athleticism, vision.Speed is just o.k.Not a real receiving Threat.Profited from a good O line.A really good downfield runner.

Elijah Mitchell (Louisiana)-Has really good contact Balance.Has really good Speed and agility though that wasn't as clear with his on-field play..Looked to have decent Hands as a pass catcher.

"Pooka" Williams (Kansas)-One of the fastest RBs in this class.Plays pretty physical despite a lack of size.Has good value as a pass catcher.Has great contact balance.Couldn’t break through Tackles due to his limited size. Was a terrible pass Blocker.Got booked for domestic violence.

Javian Hawkins (Louisville)-One cut Zone RB.4.3 speed. Was also used as a Gadget player on screens, jet sweeps.Could move to slot WR but i don’t think his Route running is up to it.Carried the Ball a little lose.I don’t think he could carry a #1 RB work load at his size.

Chuba Hubbard (Oklahoma State)-Most overrated RB in this class.Lacks any vision or ability to break tackles. He’s a one cut rusher with good straight line speed.Benefited from a good O line in college.was rarely used as a pass catcher.

Tier 4

Kene Nwangwu (Iowa State)-Maybe the most athletic RB in this class.Has ridiculous breakaway Speed.Would be ideal for an outside Zone run scheme.Wasn’t nearly as useful as a between-the-tackle runner.Didn’t play a lot of snaps as Breece Hall was the go-to RB.
Didn’t show any Receiving skills. Not a good Blocker.

Chris Evans (Michigan)-Decent allrounder at RB.Quick for his size.Has a good burst in the open field. One of the best receiving RBs in this class.Plays with too high of a pad level.Too timid getting up to the LOS.He's pretty old already

BJ Emmons (FAU)-Has good size and a good athletic Profile.Makes quick cuts and moves really well in tight spaces.Solid Pass Blocker.Doesn’t have any long Speed.24yrs old already.

Jake Funk (Maryland)-Light but compact RB.Very athletic.Has really good burst in the open Field.Has good value as a pass catcher.Average at forcing missed Tackles. An average RB between the Tackles but really good on Zone runs.

Kylin Hill (Mississippi State)-i wasnt impressed with his Rushing ability. His speed is very average. He’s 100% depended on his O line, makes very few guys miss. His real upside is as a Pass catcher where he has shown real abilities.

Asim Rose (Kentucky)-RB with the Body of a slot WR.Was fairly effective as a one cut rusher.Looks a bit awkward at the LOS but is explosive once he gets into open field.Might be an option as a change-of-pace RB or try to move to Slot receiver full time.

Tier 5

Otis Anderson (UCF)-Small RB.Shared carries with Greg McRae.Looked pretty fast on Film but ran a shockingly low 4.6 at his pro day.Was very effective as a North-South runner.A willing Blocker but his small size has limitations.Had inconsistent Hands.Ran simple Swing/wheels routes.

Greg McRae (UCF)-Shared carries with Otis Anderson. Also small.Has good short Area ability.Showed good vision between the Tackles.More developed as a route runner compared to Anderson.Has no long speed.A willing Blocker but his size has its Limits.

Stevie Scott (Indiana)-Big RB.Was an excellent Blocker.Always looks for contact.Decently quick as a North-South runner but won’t pull off many 20+yd runs.Played behind a terrible O Line.Has no lateral movement skills.Ran mostly simple pass routes (wheel)

Gary Brightwell (Arizona)-old school physical North-South RB.Loves to run people over.Has shown the ability to side step defenders, just don’t ask him to make quick direction changes.Despite having below average speed he’s shown good initial burst.Played behind a trash O Line. Was a bad Blocker.Has Bricks for Hands

Josh Johnson (Louisiana-Monroe)-solid build RB.Limited athletically but has decent short area burst. The best stiff Arm in this class.Very physical in general.Ran behind an atrocious O Line.No real receiving upside.Had some Fumbling issues.

Jermar Jefferson (Oregon State)-Pure North-South runner.Loves to run people over.Average Speed but bad agility. Was a subpar Blocker.Used as a pure safety blanket in the pass game.

Rakeem Boyd (Arkansas)-Has a really good Burst.Keeps his Feet moving when tackled. His Pad level is often too high.Only used as a Receiver on screen plays.

Tier 6

Gerrid Doaks (Cincinnati)-very average RB who does nothing really well.Needs a good O Line to produce.Does have good Power which makes him viable as a short yardage back.

“Cj” Marable (Coastal Carolina/Arkansas State)-Was a decent Blocker and a pretty good receiving Back.A pure North-South runner but he lacks the power & Balance to be a consistent tackle breaker.Has subpar athleticism and bad short area quickness.Showed some bad vision as a runner.

Brenden Knox (Marshall)-Big RB.Put up good numbers against subpar competition.Experienced in a gap scheme.Has a very average skillset.Lacks explosiveness and agility.Rarely broke Tackles.Struggled as a Blocker and wasn’t used as a receiver.

Deon Jackson (Duke)-A fairly average athlete at the Position.Runs hard for extra yds.Would be best for a Zone run scheme. His vision is lacking as he tends to miss gaps opening late. One of the better Pass blockers in this class.Had fumbling issues.

Spencer Brown (UAB)-Big Downhill RB.Will truck some guys.Lacks Speed and elusiveness. Was no factor in the passing game.Good pass blocker.

Vavae Malepeai (USC)-Downhill RB who lacks elusiveness.Runs with a low center of gravity leading to broken Tackles and extra yds.A pretty nice Blocker.Has no value as a receiver.

Caleb Huntley (Ball State)-Thick build RB.Pure North-South RB where he showed decent vision.Subpar Athlete with bad agility.Didn’t break Tackles.Wasn’t used as a receiver.

Trey Ragas (Louisiana)-lacks speed.Very timid & indecisive running up to the line.

Mekhi Sargeant (Iowa)-small change-of-pace RB.showed decent elusiveness in the open Field.Looked a tad overweight while playing. Is a pretty bad Athlete at his size.Has bad vision.Never really used as a Blocker.ran very simple passing routes.

Defensive Tackle

Tier 1
Christian Barmore (Alabama)-Ideal size 3-Tech.Has become a pretty refined and powerful Pass rusher.
Played great vs. good Competition (Notre Dame & Ohio State O Line,SEC competition).Plays with a very high pad level sometimes.

Tier 2

Alim McNeil (North Carolina State)-Incredibly agile for a Nose Tackle.Even hit spin moves on Linemen to get out of Blocks.Shot the gaps for TFLs.Easily the most athletic nose Tackle in this class.

Tommy Togiai (Ohio State)-Really catched my eye while watching Haskell Garrett (who went back to school for 2021).Has a really fast and violent get-off.Was constantly in the backfield against good Offensive lines.Being 6’2 makes it easy for him to get low.His run defense looked good too with multiple TFL.

Osa Odeghizuwa (UCLA)-Another Edge/5 Tech tweener.Mostly played 3-Tech at UCLA.Is fast out the gates.Gets violent early and pushed the pocket.Works through trash pretty well and is a decent run defender. His pass rush technique is still limited.

Marvin Wilson (Florida State)-Stocky build.Goes wild off the Line. Was hard to contain by Linemen.Has a violent punch.A plus in run defense.Needs to have a more planned and controlled pass rush.Had a down year in 2020 where he seemed like he took plays off.

Daviyon Nixon (Iowa)-Maybe the best Run defender among 3-Techs.Does great work to plug gaps. His pass rush is still limited but he can push the pocket, has strength and an effective Bull rush.

Tier 3

Tyler Shelvin (LSU)-Huge Nose Tackle who really has to watch his weight in the NFL.Has been almost impossible to run against. He eats up Blocks for Breakfast.Has no pass rush upside with his weight and very limited Technique.Him being a 2 down D Tackle also hurts his value.

Jonathan Marshall (Arkansas)-One of the most athletic DTs in this class.Often played Nose Tackle in a 3 man Front.Has a really fast get-off.Various pass rushing moves.Got victimized often in Run Defense at NT as he got moved out of Gaps too easily, though he often recovered well and worked through Trash.Projects best to playing 3-Tech in the NFL.

Levi Onwuzurike (Washington)-Slightly undersized 3-Tech.Has a nice Speed Element.Took advantage of slower Centers/Guards in College.Often had to play out of position Nose Tackle in Washington’s 3-Man Rush.Got regularly moved off position by bigger Guards in run defense.

Jaylen Twyman (Pittsburgh)-opted out in 2020.Looked like a really poor man’s Aaron Donald but doesn’t have his athleticism.Has a decent Arsenal of pass rush moves.Really struggles when Linemen can get their Hands on him.A pretty good run defender for a smaller DT.

Darius Stills (West Virginia)-Undersized 3-Tech.Has a fast get-off.A good arsenal of pass rush moves.Works hard.Struggled vs. the Run

Bobby Brown (Texas A&M)-3 Tech with great Build.Has a fast get-off violent Hands and can really push the pocket.Seemed to take plays off and at times looked disinterested.Could be a great DT if he wanted to if he was more commited.

Tier 4

Milton Williams (Louisiana Tech)-Played DT in College.Put up an all-time great workout at the Pro Day, which even surpasses Aaron Donald’s (both have the same size) Combine numbers. His actual Tape looks much more spotty though. He has a nice swim move but often just Bullrushes Guards.Tended to rush without a Plan. His get-off is fast but not ridiculously fast.Guards also beat him on run Defense where he got moved too easy though he was able to shoot gaps for stops sometimes.
He also has rather short Arms at sub 32 inches.

Tedarrell Slaton (Florida)-Listed at near 360lbs which i highly doubt looked much slimmer on tape (335lbs at best).Usually played Nose Tackle in College. If he could lose another 10-15lbs. he could be an option as a 3-Tech.He’s fast off the Ball, has a nice Bull rush and works his Arms a lot and looks really quick at his weight. His run Defense was inconsistent as he got stuck on Blocks which would be a Problem in the NFL.

Austin Faoliu (Oregon)-Played at DT and DE.Has good play strength.A good initial get-off and a couple decent Pass rush moves.Has a high Motor.Oregon rotated their D Line a lot giving only a modest amount of snaps.Defended the run well.

Jay Tufele (USC)-Seen him Mock Drafted in the 1st rd.A terrible run defense as he got victimized by Interior Linemen.Took advantage of bad pass blockers with nice speed coming out of his stance and with his Bullrush.

Marlon Tuipulotu (USC)-His production was very concentrated on a couple games where he took advantage of bad Guard/Center play.Struggles when the Bull rush isn’t working. Is Fast out of the Blocks.Struggled with Run defense.

Tier 5

Ta’Quan Graham (Texas)-Has a violent first punch where he gets Linemen into Trouble but always allows them to re-adjust.Can rarely follow through or counter and misses Technique beyond a Bull Rush which won’t be as effective in the NFL at under 300lbs..His Run defense looked solid.

Khyiris Tonga (BYU)-Played NT.Has really good core strength.Hit the gaps well.Got home with Bullrushes.I expected him to be a more consistent run defender.Got turned around and moved many times.Couldn’t take on double Teams.

Carlo Kemp (Michigan)-Undersized DT.Was used as a 1-Tech.Projects more as a 5-Tech Hybrid Edge in the NFL.Has a fast get-off.Has a high Motor.Works through trash really well.Has limited technique as a pass rusher. Was a liability against the run as Centers & Guards could easily contain or move him out the gap.

Quinton Bohanna (Kentucky)-Big Nose Tackle.A good run defender.Pushes the pocket but lacks any pass rush technique.Tried some weird spin moves which do nothing at his slow speed.Played with a high Pad level.

Tier 6

O’Bryan Goodson (Memphis)-Mostly used as a Nose Tackle for which he is way undersized at the next level.Has a pretty quick get-off and uses his Hands well.Got really victimized in Run Defense where Guards did what they wanted with him.If he loses some Baby Fat he could be a thing as a 5-Tech.

Jordon Scott (Oregon).Small Nose Tackle with a square Frame.Plays with a low center of gravity which gives him good leverage when pass rushing.Has a good get-off and decent Hand technique. Is cursed with really short Arms. Was really poor vs. the run which is kinda important for a 0 Tech.Gets moved off gaps way too easily, can’t take on Double Teams.

Edge Defender

Tier 1

Jaelan Phillips (Miami/UCLA)-Was medically retired from UCLA due to multiple concussions. On a technical level the best Edge rusher in this class.Has a variety of moves. Is explosive off the line.Would be my #1 without the medical issues.

Joseph Ossai (Texas)-Highly athletic.Converts speed to power really well. Can play coverage situationally.Technique-wise isn’t fully formed yet beyond Speed rushes,Rip moves, doesn’t have much bend. Was a good run defender.

Ronnie Perkins (Oklahoma)-explosive off the line, wins early.Tracks the Ball really well and keeps gap integrity. One of the faster Edge rushers in this class. One of the more developed guys in this class.Needs to implement some countermoves when blocked.

Kwity Paye (Michigan)-Big and explosive 4-3 D End.Made a huge leap in 2020.Sets the Edge really well. He’s still pretty raw with his Technique but has Power and Speed.

Azeez Ojulari (Georgia)-a really talented speed rusher who’s gotten better as a run defender.Situationally can drop in coverage. His running style looks a little awkward but he’s fast as hell, maybe the fastest Edge rusher in this class.

Tier 2

Gregory Rousseau (Miami)-2020 opt out.He would’ve benefitted from another college season as his main issue is technique.Much of his production actually came against Guards from the interior.Has a nice swim move.Would probably have a horrible 3-cone drill if the combine were happening as his long Legs give him trouble when cutting or moving through traffic.

Rashad Weaver (Pittsburgh)-Long armed.Has a fast get-off.Converts speed to power really well.Reminds me a lot of Preston Smith.

Quincy Roche (Miami/Temple)-Great speed rusher who really displayed his skills at the senior Bowl 1-on-1s which were perfect to show of his speed. He is undersized at 6’3/240lbs and that will be the main issue.Should be a fit as a rotational Speed rusher in the NFL at least.

Jonathon Cooper (Ohio State)-He was really catching my eye while watching the Ohio State DTs.Has a great get-off, converts speed-to-power.Has improved his Technique by leaps and bounds.

Carlos Basham (Wake Forest)-Sort of a powerful tweener at 280lbs.Falls somewhere between Edge and 5-Tech.Has a great get-off & power.Sets the Edge well. His Technique is still raw.

Tier 3

Patrick Johnson (Tulane)-Really impressed me.Already one of the more technically proficient pass rushers in this class.plays fast and intelligent. The big question will be his lack of great competition

Cameron Sample (Tulane)
-Another Big Edge rusher who has found success rushing over Guards.Has a really nice get-off and good Hand usage.Had a good Senior Bowl.Lacks the speed element.

Chris Rumph (Duke)-3-4 Edge who the NFL will probably try to convert to an off Ball LB because of his lean Frame (225lbs.)On the Field his play was fantastic. He has a variety of pass rush moves and a fast get-off.He even set the Edge well vs. the Run and shot gaps.
On top of that one of the highest pressure rates in College.

Earnest Brown (Northwestern)-Big,long-armed DE with 5-Tech capabilities.Has powerful Hands.Has a high motor.Sets the Edge really well and works his way through trash to stop runs.Looked really fluid in open space vs. ball carriers.Did really well pass rushing from the interior though he was untested against the run there..Has a nice swim move.plays with a low pad level.Lacks speed when rushing from the Edge, which didn’t give him many wins on the outside.

Tarron Jackson (Coastal Carolina)-Good sized Edge.Has a fast get-off and pretty nice Technique already.Held up well in Run defense.

Payton Turner (Houston)-Big Edge Rusher.Played various positions along the D Line.Uses his Hands really well. His get-off looks slow but his closing speed looks pretty good.Plays to upright for my taste.

Jayson Oweh (Penn State)-One of the most physically gifted players in this class.Leaves a lot to be desired in terms of Technique. His run defense is lacking.

Tier 4
Patrick Jones (Pittsburgh)
-Big and athletic but has short Arms. His technique is raw and he often rushes without a Plan.Had a bad Senior Bowl. His raw physical abilities will get him drafted high though.

Joe Tryon (Washington)-Faced a lot of double teams at Washington because their scheme often rushes just 3.Most of his wins came vs. Guards and on stunts. He has good size.Needs to improve his Technique.

Adetokunbo Ogundeji (Notre Dame)-Physically gifted.Has pretty long Arms and wins a lot when he uses stab techniques, he just needs to be more consistent and needs to use his long Arms more.Plays the run really well.

Chauncey Golston (Iowa)-Comes violent out of the gates.Has a good power element. One of the better run defenders in this class. His technique is raw and movement skills are lacking.

Daelin Hayes (Notre Dame)-Was underused at Notre Dame.Pretty fast for his size.Looks solid all around. One of the better performing Edge guys at the Senior Bowl.

Elerson Smith (Northern Iowa)-Really tall Edge that really impressed me at the Senior Bowl.Has a really fast get off and uses his Hands really well.

Tier 5

Joshua Kaindoh (Florida State)- Long-limbed Edge.Pretty quick.Still needs to figure out his Technique which was all over the place.Often rushed like a bendy speed rusher even though he has 0 Bend.

Malik Herring (Georgia)-Big Edge who also lined up at DT occasionally.Sets the Edge well vs. the run.Has good play strength.Has a pretty good get-off.Lacks any particular pass rush technique beyond a Bull rush.

Hamilcar Rashed (Oregon State)-3-4 Edge Defender.Plays well in open space.Chases down runners.Has a nice Speed element but the Technique needs work.Feasted on weak competition.

Dayo Odenigbo (Vanderbilt)-Big Edge who had to play mostly 3-4 DT in college.Has some good athleticism.Good technique was not to be seen but his main assignment was run defense.Could have some upside playing true Edge rusher.

Ja’Quan Bailey (Iowa State).small-ish Edge who played with some Baby Fat.Had to play on a Team that usually just rushed 3.Was often just asked to play contain.Worked well through traffic and did a good job plugging gaps. Can disengage and re engage when he loses.Seems to lack Power. His pass rush wins were too infrequent despite having a good Arsenal of moves.

Victor Dimukeje (Duke)-short arms and upper body.Athletic and a fast get-off but really raw as a pass rusher. Was a pretty good run Defender but with occasional fuckups maintaining Gap integrity.

Jordan Smith (UAB/Florida)-Plays too upright.Needs to win with speed.Still pretty raw but athletic. Was kicked out of Florida for credit card fraud (same incident that got Antonio Callaway in trouble).

Janarius Robinson (Florida State)-Has the size and athleticism but no clue on how to rush the passer.Seems to rush without a Plan.Rarely uses his long Arms.

Malcolm Koonce (Buffalo)-Could play 3-4 or 4-3 Edge.Has long Limbs.Has a good club and rip move. Not all that explosive.Doesn’t set the Edge well vs. the run.

Tier 6

Raymond Johnson (Georgia Southern)-Plays with some good violence.Played with too high of a pad level. His pass rush Arsenal doesn’t extend beyond a Bull rush and a club move.Seemed to take plays off in run defense.

William Bradley-King (Baylor/Arkansas State)-really struggles in run defense, gets moved off gaps. His pass rush has massively improved especially his Hand usage.

Isaiahh Loudermilk (Wisconsin)-Hybrid 5-Tech.Has good size and long Arms.Set the Edge well.Works well through Trash.Limited with his Pass rush Technique.Lacks great athleticism and a fast get-off.

Andre Mintze (Vanderbilt)-Smaller Edge who played standing up and in the Dirt.Took advantage of some Bad Tackle play, while disappearing against better ones.Had a pretty decent stab move.Has a pretty quick get-off and tried to hold up in run defense.Still, got moved too easily by run Blockers. Was much better in a 3 point stance than standing up.

Mustafa Johnson (Colorado)-Stocky 5-Tech DT who played in a 3-4.Was pretty good vs. the run.Disengages well from Blocks to tackle the ball carrier.Hustles on pass rushes and won some with his low center of gravity.Though he was often too easily contained and lacks any finesse.

Charles Snowden (Virginia)-Tall Edge Rusher/LB.Most of his success in college came because of size advantage. His technique is very rudimentary. He lacks any power element. He doesn’t look agile enough if he drops in coverage.Probably a future Special Teamer, i could see him batting some Balls with his long Arms.

Wyatt Hubert (Kansas State)-Has the weight to be an Edge but he’s cursed with short Arms and subpar athleticism.Against talented Offensive Linemen his lack in these Areas was apparent.Played with Effort

Shaka Toney (Penn State)-Speed rusher who plays like he’s 265lbs.Often directly goes at Tackles without any Hope of actually beating them.Played his fair share of snaps in coverage.Has to change his approach to be a successful Edge rusher.

Jamar Watson (Kentucky)-3-4 Edge.Set the Edge pretty well vs. the run.Had a few good Fakes on which he got some pass rush wins but was mostly unimpressive.Lacks explosiveness.Played simple coverage by dropping into short Zones and going to the flat.

Linebacker

Tier 1

Micah Parsons (Penn State)-Perfect model for a “Build-a-Linebacker” program.Perfect size. The best Blitzer in this class.Shoots gaps like a Madman.Great at shedding Blocks.Diagnoses plays early.Played mostly well in coverage but he isn’t perfect there.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (Notre Dame)-Fast and athletic coverage LB who played a ton in the slot. Was a really effective Blitzer too.As rangy as it gets.and he finds the Ball fast.Probably wouldn’t work as a MLB with his small size.

Zaven Collins (Tulsa)-260lbs. LB who is surprisingly Agile and did about everything on Defense.Looked good in run defense, coverage and even as an Edge rusher and could be used in a variety of ways.

Nick Bolton (Missouri)-Stocky build, agile LB who hits like a Truck. He’s great at shooting gaps and sniffing out plays.Pretty good in coverage of shallow routes.Does get overaggressive which led to some missed Tackles.

Tier 2

Jamin Davis (Kentucky)-Played MLB in college but projects to WILL LB because his run Defense isn’t up to par at barely 225lbs.Explosive and decent coverage skills.Needs more development.

Chazz Surratt (North Carolina)-Converted from QB to LB.Hella athletic.A fantastic Blitzer.Has all the Tools to be a really good LB.Being a recent convert he still struggles to shed Blocks and misses Tackles.Would make for a great prospective Will LB.

Jabril Cox (LSU/North Dakota State)-Did really well in the open Field as a Tackler & cover LB.Projects best to Will LB in a Man scheme.Did struggle in run defense.Just a good athlete but no Beast.

Tier 3

Justin Hilliard (Ohio State)-One of the bigger surprises.stocky-build but surprisingly quick.Would be perfect as a coverage LB.One of the few LBs who can actually cover WRs.Has good instincts, shoots gaps but struggles to shed Blocks.Injuries ravaged his college career.Never played more than 230 snaps/season in college.

Pete Werner (Ohio State)-played MLB and projects to playing MLB in the NFL.Is a strong Blitzer.Fleet-footed.Can cover TEs and slower RBs.Shoots gaps.Gets overaggressive which sometimes lead to missed Tackles and missed Screens.Needs to get better at shedding Blocks.

Tony Fields (West Virginia)-Undersized and athletic.Played MLB in college but projects as a coverage LB in the NFL.Has good cover skills and is an effective Blitzer.Did struggle in run defense.

Cameron McGrone (Michigan)-Compact LB.Played MLB in college.Mostly played Zone coverage but looked good in the few Man coverage snaps he had.Reacts quick to situations. Was a decent Blitzer.I don’t think his run defense is good enough to play MLB in the NFL.He projects better to WILL LB anyway.

Antjuan Simmons (Michigan State)-Undersized MLB, converted RB.Plays fearless. Can shed Blocks which a lot of 240lbs. LBs didn’t do in this class.Has very good instincts where the Ball goes. One of the few LBs who was used in 1-on-1 Man coverage.Moves very well in Coverage.Has a really good Burst. Was at a disadvantage when taking on O linemen with much longer Arms than him.Projects to a WILL LB or more likely a Box Safety in the NFL.

Dylan Moses (Alabama)-Maybe the most athletic LB in this Draft.Has about every physical tool needed as a sideline-to-sideline guy.An ACL Tear slowed him down last season and in terms of play recognition he still struggles which might make him a no-go as MLB.

Isaiah McDuffie (Boston College)-Played OLB.Moves well in coverage and has pretty good instincts. Was great on Stunts and Blitzes.Got stuck on Blocks vs. The run.Is not a great Athlete.

Tier 4

Baron Browning (Ohio State)-Former 5-star recruit.Ideal size.Great tackler.Good run defender.Really struggles in Coverage, which is why he mostly just covered the flat.Never assumed the Mike role which probably means that he still struggles to read Defenses. Projecting to a SAM LB would severely limit his value.

Tuf Borland (Ohio State)-Slightly undersized MLB.Has good short area agility but lacks long speed because of his short legs.Played in Zone coverage like all Ohio State LBs.Needs to roam around the Box to be effective. Was a decent run defender and a good Blitzer.

Monty Rice (Georgia)-Played MLB.Short and stocky build.Decent athleticism.Struggled to shed Blocks.Lacks in pass coverage.Good Blitzer.

Grant Stuard (Houston)-High Effort MLB.Tackling machine.Good short Area Agility.Has good instincts vs. the run but he did struggle when Offensive linemen got their Hands on him.Does have short Limbs which limits his Speed and ability in coverage.Needs the game in front of him.

Buddy Johnson (Texas A&M)-Played MLB.Has great short Area quickness and athleticism. Can at least stack Blocking Linemen but was still inconsistent vs. the run.Did have a couple issues with play recognition.Completely unproven in coverage.

Nick Niemann (Iowa)-Played OLB. Showed some decent coverage skills vs. TEs and slower WRs.A really good pursuit LB if the game is in Front of him.Had great Pro Day numbers but didn’t look nearly as agile on the Field.Seemed to react slow and struggle with quick direction changes.

Tier 5

Ernest Jones (South Carolina)
-Played MLB.Looks quite fluid in pass coverage but didn’t have many man coverage snaps, mostly just Zone.Really struggled in Run defense being unable to get off Blocks.Good not great athlete.

Derrick Barnes (Purdue)-Played SAM and MLB with a lot of snaps at Edge. Was a good pursuit LB.Has good straight line speed and explosiveness. Was a really good Tackler. Was very inconsistent vs. the run.Had very basic coverage assignments.struggled with quick direction changes.

Amen Ogbongbemiga (Oklahoma State)-Played OLB.Average athletically.Decent man coverage skills on short & medium routes, not fast enough to cover downfield where he got burned.Could actually stack and shed Blockers but couldn’t do it vs. Lineman.

Garret Wallow (TCU)-Converted from Safety to LB.Played MLB.Athletic and quick in a straight line but looks stiff and has Problems with quick direction changes and would get picked apart over the middle in the NFL..He’s got hitting power but made mistakes on run reads.

KJ Britt (Auburn)-Played MLB but if he wants to stay there in the NFL he really needs to improve in Run Defense. He couldn’t really shed Blocks and missed too many Tackles. He actually looked good in Coverage at the Senior Bowl which might make a move to WILL LB possible.Has some decent athleticism but nothing exceptional.

Tier 6

Erroll Thompson (Mississippi State)-Played MLB.Dished out Big Hits. Can stack and shed Blockers with no Problem.Old school type who will have trouble covering guys because of his lack of athleticism.Got caught on a lot of play action plays.Shot the wrong gaps often.

Paddy Fisher (Northwestern)-Typical MLB size.Is unathletic and stiff as hell, useless in coverage.Even in run defense he sometimes struggles to shed blocks. Is a decent Blitzer

Riley Cole (South Alabama)-Played 3-4 Edge a lot but moved to Inside LB in 2020.Did really well on Blitzes where his Edge rushing History benefits him.He has really short Arms.Has to improve a ton in Run Defense and Tackling.

Defensive Backs

Cornerback

Tier 1

Caleb Farley (Virginia Tech)-opted out in 2020.plays both Zone and Man coverage.Great closing speed.Had no Problem following Receivers and getting his Head turned.Gets in good position to make plays.Looks fluid. Not the most willing Tackler vs. the run.

Jaycee Horn (South Carolina)-Another Big Press Man CB.Very physical which sometimes leads to Holding calls.Beats WRs off the line.Always looks to make a play on the Ball.Lacks Top End speed so some really fast NFL WRs might beat him up.

Patrick Surtain ll (Alabama)-Big Press Man CB.Plays very smart.Probably has the cleanest Technique in this class.Needs to get his Hands on a receiver to feel comfortable.Lacks Top End Speed.

Greg Newsome (Northwestern)-Man Corner with the occasional zone snaps who mostly played off coverage in a Zone scheme.Has fluid Hips and adjusts to the Ball quickly.Quick but not super explosive.

Tier 2

Asante Samuel jr-Smaller, very agile outside CB, might have to move into the slot for NFL Teams.Always looking for the Ball and quick to break on it.A good Tackler despite his smaller size.

Elijah Molden (Washington)-small-ish slot CB who could also play Free Safety.Really intelligent player.Anticipates passes and will leave his assignment to intercept .A willing Tackler at 5’8.Had no Problems hanging with any guy in the slot.Very physical despite his size.

Ifeatu Melifonwu (Syracuse)-Big CB at 215lbs.Usually played off coverage. Can flip his Hips fast and can track outside WR the whole way. He’s also one if not the best run defender in this CB class. He sheds Blocks really well.Looks much more experienced playing Football than his Brother.

Eric Stokes (Georgia)-Isn’t the Athlete that Tyson Campbell is but looked quite a bit better in coverage.Plays Press coverage without getting too grabby.Stayed with the WR.Has god Technique and instincts to counterbalance his lack of Top athleticism. His Hips look a bit stiff.

Tier 3

Tre Brown (Oklahoma)-Played Press Man CB despite his relatively short size of 5’9.Really aggressive with his first punch off the Line (knocked Tylan Wallace silly).Could easily keep up in coverage.Plays the Ball really well.Has no Problem tackling.Got caught on a double move twice while watching him..

Kelvin Joseph (Kentucky/LSU)-Another surprise while watching.Played against some of the Top guys coming out (Devonta Smith,Kyle Pitts) and more than held his own.Quick off the Line.Gets his Head and Hips moved quick Played Press and off coverage, man and Zone.Good Ball skills.Constantly tackles low at the Legs which will lead to plenty of missed tackles.Hasn’t played a lot of games because he had to sit out 1 year due to transfering from LSU.

Jason Pinnock (Pittsburgh)-Played outside Press Man CB.A late surprise for me. Looked really fluid in coverage. Can flip his Hips quickly and carry WRs.Had good athletic Testing numbers.Doesn’t have Top end Long Speed and quick lateral movement gave him Problems.

Rodarius Williams (Oklahoma State)-”Greedy” Williams’ Brother.Outside CB.Plays calm and smooth, doesn’t panic when the Ball comes his way.Rarely gives up the Inside in coverage. His athleticism is average, probably wouldn’t do all that well in a cone drill.Got beat badly on 1 fake by Brennan Eagles for a TD.

Tyson Campbell (Georgia)-Really good athlete.Plays very physical.Has great closing Speed.Constantly needs to have contact and gets grabby with the WR which will lead to a lot of holding calls in the NFL.Got bossed around by bigger WRs who he should theoretically do better against than faster WRs.

Kary Vincent (LSU)-Played Slot CB & Safety.Has a great athletic Profile.Had no Problems carrying guys deep.Showed great closing Speed.Anticipates Throws.Has played great competition (Jeudy,Lamb,Van Jefferson).I’d definitely put him at Free Safety.Played with too much space in off coverage for my taste, that won’t fly in the NFL.

Aaron Robinson (UCF/Alabama)-played outside CB in College, will probably move into the slot in the NFL.Has rather short Arms.Plays aggressive and close Man coverage.

Tier 4

Trill Williams (Syracuse)-Played all over the secondary but projects best to Outside CB.Long CB.Has very good long Speed and can carry WR.Was a solid Tackler. Can get physical. In the slot he really struggled with agile slot WR who could cut fast.

Shaun Wade (Ohio State)-Played really well in the slot but struggled after moving to outside CB.Very athletic.Had some busted coverages and pre snap mistakes on the outside.Should be good in the slot though.

Deommodore Lenoir (Oregon)-played various DB positions in zone coverage.Gets quick to the Ball.Looked comfortable running with WR.
One of the better corners at sniffing out run plays.Has fluid Hips with average athleticism.

Paulson Adebo (Stanford)-Opted out in 2020 after a so-so 2019 and a great 2018.Has all the athleticism at outside CB in a Man cover scheme.Has a nose for the Ball.Mentally had a few fuckups in coverage.

Brandin Echols (Kentucky)-Played outside and slot CB.Really athletic.Had no Problems carrying WRs down the Field, even top guys like Devante Smith.Always gets his Head turned. Is undersized and it showed up when he tried to Tackle or struggled getting off WR Blocks. Will be limited to Slot CB in the NFL

Camryn Bynum (CAL)-Outside Press CB.Has polished Press Technique.Gets his head turned and tracks the Ball well. Can turn his Hips quick.Reacted slowly to WRs breaking on routes.Lacks top end Speed and fast WRs have beaten him.One of the better Tacklers in this class.Plays the run well but struggled to shed Blocks.

Thomas Graham (Oregon)-Average size but with really long Arms.Mostly played off coverage in a Man scheme.Has good Hips and good reactive skills.Athleticism is. ok.Seemed to have trouble where to align pre snap sometimes.Needs to learn in general about recognizing coverages and alignments.

Tier 5

Keith Taylor (Washington)-Mostly played off coverage in a Zone scheme.Didn’t really stand out much positively or negatively. Is a decent Tackler.

Tay Gowan (UCF)-Lanky and slim outside CB.Has good long Speed.Plays the Ball well.Did well in Press coverage.Has o.k. Hip fluidity. Is an o.k Tackler.A willing but subpar Tackler.

Rachad Wildgoose (Wisconsin)-Played in the slot and outside.Has a good athletic Profile.Hard to gauge because he didn’t play a lot of Deep coverage.Mostly Zone and short Area. Not the strongest vs. the run.I think he projects best as an outside CB where he can use his Speed best.

Dicaprio Bootle (Nebraska)-Played outside CB in Man and off coverage. Is a really good Athlete and has great agility. Can flip his Hips quickly. Was a very willing Tackler but due to his small size he got stuck on Blocks often.Projects best as a Slot CB in the NFL.

Isaiah Dunn (Oregon State)-Played outside and in the slot in off coverage.Projects to the slot in the NFL.Can flip his Hips quickly and carry WR.Surprisingly physical for a small CB though he had no chance when TEs blocked him.Didn’t get his Head turned often which would get him in trouble in the league.

Antonio Phillips (Ball State)-Played Zone and Man in off coverage.Showed really good abilities to mirror outside WRs.One of the best Tacklers in this class.A very fluid mover.Due to Speed and agility limitations he needs to get into Press coverage at the next level.

Shemar Jean Charles (Appalachian State)-Mostly played off coverage in a Man scheme.Played the Ball really well with a ton of passes batted down.Lack of great competition in the Sun Belt.

Mark Gilbert (Duke)-Played outside CB.Usually played off coverage in Man.Showed really good abilities at mirroring WRs vertically.Often opens up his Hips too early.Had a few mental lapses where he got burned for TDs.Has a ridiculous injury History (only played 4 games in the last 3 seasons incl. the same injury that Tua Tagovailoa had)

Chris Wilcox (BYU)-Played outside CB in off coverage.Has impressive downhill speed and physical traits. Was a good Tackler. His Hips looked stiff and he had Problems with quick direction changes.

Robert Rochell (Central Arkansas)-Big CB with long Arms.Needs to play Press Man in the NFL as he lacks the speed & Hips to allow free releasesLooked alright at the Senior bowl.

Michael Carter ll (Duke)-Slot CB.Played WR really close.Had no problem flipping his Hips and turning upfield with plenty of Speed. Not remotely interested in shedding Blocks and a bad Tackler.

Nate Hobbs (Illinois)-Played Zone CB.Often had to set the Edge vs. the run and did that well.Showed some good instincts when to leave his spot to make Tackles or pass breakups.Has good athletic numbers.A willing Tackler though he did struggle sometimes due to his size.Completely unproven in Man coverage.

Nahshon Wright (Oregon State)-Very lanky CB who usually played Zone.Has surprisingly fluid Hips for his Length. Was a pretty good Tackler. Is limited with his Speed and fast WR gave him Problems.

Olaijah Griffin (USC)-Small outside CB.Mostly played Press.Competitive at the catchpoint. Can track guys along.Usually lost early off the line.Lacks any kind of physicality.Has to work hard to get players down on Tackles. Was too easy to block and obviously no match vs. the run.I’d like to see him in the slot.

Zech Mcphearson (Texas Tech)-Press CB who also played off coverage.Has a nice first punch which gets WR off their release.Looked pretty good in coverage but often covered a Teams #2 WR.Doesn’t seem to have any top level athleticism.Has average size.Sometimes overcommits to Press and loses his equilibrium.

Benjamin St.Juste (Minnesota)-Big Man CB.played off coverage in college.Should probably play press in the NFL as he’s not quick enough to play off coverage.Needs to get much more physical with his size.Lacks speed.Really disappointing in run defense as he got stuck on WR blocks.

Marco Wilson (Florida)-Athletic and Competitive and much more comfortable in Man coverage.Looked o.k. in the slot.Constantly lost guys in Zone coverage.Struggled in off Man coverage.Lacks physicality. Not a particularly willing tackler.

Darren Hall (San Diego State)-Played Zone CB probably needs to move to the slot with his short Arms.Has good athleticism but isn’t good at quick Direction changes.Reacts quickly.

Shakur Brown (Michigan State)-Played outside and in the slot.Looked a lot better outside.Looked good in Press coverage.Didn’t look like he had more than average speed.A decent Tackler but i’ve seen him get badly juked by a WR vs. Iowa.

Tier 6

Bryce Thompson (Tennessee)-Played outside and in the slot.Probably needs to move to the slot full time.Has long Arms.Plays competitive.Tracks the Ball well and does get INTs.Struggles downfield in coverage.Struggles with play recognition

Israel Mukuamu (South Carolina)-Long CB with ridiculously long Arms.Had some ridiculous INTs with those.Played Press Man CB.His Hips are really stiff and he lacks Speed with those long limbs.Might be a decent Box Safety.

DJ Daniel (Georgia)-Backup outside CB with occasional slot work.Often played Press Bail Technique but he allowed too many easy releases as he didn’t have the Technique down.Showed good recovery Speed.Tended to panic in coverage and get grabby. No physicality either.

I always get ramped up for the nfl draft. Read a mock the other day on some site that had my raiders going qb in round 1 at pick17. If the raiders do decide that neither carr or mariota is their guy, it’s going to be for a clear upgrade like watson or Wilson, not the 5th best qb to start from scratch. I think it’s clear as day they need to focus on defense, particularly the interior of the defensive line.

At 17 i see no QB who would be an improvement over Carr.Edge/CB or DT would be my guess.

Safety

Tier 1

Trevon Moehrig (TCU)-Played both FS and SS.Is constantly around the Ball.Has great instincts and understanding of coverages. Can get overaggressive and miss Tackles sometimes.Isn’t gonna be the fastest Safety.

Richie Grant (UCF)-Instinctive and rangy Safety who could theoretically play in the Box but i like him more deep.Knows where the Ball is going and makes plays on it.Decent Tackler who can find the Ball carrier.Has decent Athleticism.

Ar’Darius Washington (TCU)-My favourite Safety in this class.Small as it gets but plays much bigger and isn’t afraid to tackle.Recognizes plays and is very instinctive. Not quite as fast as one would expect from a 180lbs guy.

Tier 2

Jamar Johnson (Indiana)-Rangy FS who was a really good Blitzer.Has really good Instincts and anticipation and makes plays on the Ball in Zone coverage.A shoulder Tackler which led to some missed Tackles.Doesn’t have Top End Speed.

Richard LeCounte (Georgia)-Rangy FS who made a lot of plays in the Box.He’s agile with good closing Speed and gets to the Ball quick.Missed a lot of Tackles.

Hamsah Nasirildeen (Florida State)-Played pretty much every DB position.Big in size.Good coverage ability against TEs and RBs, limited against quick WRs.One of the best Tacklers in this class.Clearly likes hitting people.Projects as a Jeremy Chinn type but his ability to recognize plays is better than Chinn’s coming out of college.

Tier 3

Tyree Gillespie (Missouri)-Almost exclusively played Deep Free Safety. Was rarely involved in plays, which makes it a difficult evaluation.Looked fast and rangy.Comes up to Tackle and tackles well.Hits hard. in the games i watched he was rarely targeted in coverage.Could also play Strong Safety.

Divine Deablo (Virginia Tech)-Played all Safety positions as well as Nickel LB.Safety/LB Hybrid is probably his best Option as he doesn’t have the Top end speed for Deep Safety..Can cover most TEs & RBs in the slot and deep.Tackling looks good.Has some freelancing in him one of those plays ended with him intercepting Trevor Lawrence in the endzone.

Jamien Sherwood (Auburn)-Big Ass Safety.Did most of his work in the Box.Really smart Pre Snap as he had total command of their Defense.Usually made the right reads.A really good Tackler.Did have Problems shedding bigger Blockers (Linemen,Big TEs).Isn’t fluid enough to play at the last Level.Would benefit a lot to become a full time WILL LB.

Marc Webb (Georgia)-Safety who mostly did work in the slot.Looked good covering guys in the slot even WRs.Was used as a Blitzer.Tackles really well.Could work as a Box Safety too.

Andre Cisco (Syracuse)-The most Boom-or-Bust Safety in this class.Had a ridiculous amount of Interceptions but also a big amount of whiffed Tackles and Busted coverages. An unapologetic Ballhawk.Speed looks good not great.

Darrick Forrest (Cincinnati)-Played mostly FS with occasional snaps in the slot and a few at SS.Great athletic Profile.Has plenty of Range to play FS.A decent but not particularly willing Tackler.Had some mistakes in coverage that led to TDs.

Jevon Holland (Oregon)-Mostly did work covering the flat as a Nickel CB or the slot..Could play Strong Safety but his Tackling isn’t that consistent.Lacks the speed to play Free Safety.

Tier 4

Shawn Davis (Florida)-Played FS in college. Not the most rangy guy.Loves to hit people.Run Defense looked solid. Not the most rangy Safety which is why i would consider a move to SS.

James Wiggins (Cincinnati)-Mostly played in the slot, could play Strong Safety in the NFL if he improves vs. the run.A good Tackler who can cover the Slot.

Brady Breeze (Oregon)-Played mostly at FS.Looked pretty good in Zone coverage.Tracks the Ball well.Loved to come down and hit Ball carriers, always good for an unnecessary roughness penalty.A fairly average Athlete which could limit him to playing Strong Safety.

Paris Ford (Pittsburgh)-Should project to FS.Has improved a lot in coverage.Gets too greedy for the Ball sometimes.

Joshuah Bledsoe (Missouri)-Had to play deep plenty of times.Just doesn’t have the speed and instinct to play FS in the NFL.He’s a good tackler and did decent work in the slot .Needs to play close to the LOS in the NFL.

Talanoa Hufanga (USC)-Big Box Safety.Did pretty well as a Blitzer.Missed a surprising amount of Tackles.Has very limited coverage ability reserved for some slower TEs.

Tier 5

Tre Norwood (Oklahoma)-Switched from CB to Free Safety with occasional snaps at Nickel CB.Does a good job at getting into passing lanes which led to deflections and interceptions.Has the right instincts and quick reaction time.Constantly let guys slip out of his arm tackles.Doesn’t have any great athleticism to him.

Damar Hamlin (Pittsburgh)-Played all Safety and Slot DB positions.Very experienced with good coverage instincts.Lacks physical strength, struggled with Tackling.Isn’t rangy enough to play FS or physical enough to play SS.Probably has the best Chances to succeed as a Slot CB.

Marcus Murphy (Mississippi State)-FS who showed some decent Man Coverage skills.A fairly average Athlete and an average-at-best Tackler.

JaCoby Stevens (LSU)-Strong Safety.Doesn’t have the speed to play Deep despite good Pro Day numbers.Needs to work on his run defense.

Tier 6

Caden Sterns (Texas).Played mostly FS with occasionally covering the flats.Has good Size. Not as fast as i hoped and definitely not as fluid.Made plenty of mistakes in coverage. Not that hot of a Tackler either.

Chris Brown (Texas)-Lighter FS/Slot CB.Has all the athletic Tools to succeed.Really struggles at recognizing plays.Reacted slowly on a lot of plays. Was a really bad Tackler.

Donovan Stiner (Florida)-Played SS.Was a pure cleanup Tackler.Constantly recognized plays too late.Has no coverage skills.Wasn’t even much of a Tackler. The worst Safety in this class.

Tariq Thompson (San Diego State)-Played mostly in the slot.Has good size and can lay the wood.Looks slow and unathletic with no change-of-direction skills.Would really struggle to cover more than shallow routes.Even as a pure Box Safety his lack of athleticism is likely a no-go.

Good call and the Jets haven't even drafted him yet

I think they are going to take Wilson though. He seems like he's the clear cut 2 at QB. I wouldn't be surprised to see Fields fall but this draft is extremely difficult to predict

Tier 3

Trey Sermon (Ohio State)-Good-not-great athleticism,vision.Speed is just o.k.Not a real receiving Threat.Profited from a good O line.

Kylin Hill (Mississippi State)-i wasnt impressed with his Rushing ability. His speed is very average. He’s 100% depended on his O line, makes very few guys miss. His real upside is as a Pass catcher where he has shown real abilities.

Elijah Mitchell (Louisiana)-Has really good contact Balance. His speed is average at-best.Looked to have decent Hands as a pass catcher.

Chuba Hubbard (Oklahoma State)-Most overrated RB in this class.Lacks any vision or ability to break tackles. He’s a one cut rusher with good straight line speed.Benefited from a good O line in college.was rarely used as a pass catcher.

Tier 3

Asim Rose (Kentucky)-RB with the Body of a slot WR.Was fairly effective as a one cut rusher.Looks a bit awkward at the LOS but is explosive once he gets into open field.Might be an option as a change-of-pace RB or try to move to Slot receiver full time.

Tier 5

Gerrid Doaks (Cincinnati)-very average RB who does nothing really well.Needs a good O Line to produce.

Trey Ragas (Louisiana)-lacks speed.Very timid & indecisive running up to the line.

Thank God someone else has Javonte as the #1 RB. I've felt like I've been taking crazy pills with everyone mocking him around pick 60.

Move Christensen and Eichenberg up to T2 at T imo. Also not buying Waddle above Devonta.

I think Trask is gonna slowly move up the boards. Wouldn't surprise to see him land right around Fields (or the 3\4 QB to go)
