Firefox Nightly as the browser. Add the Ublock Origin extension. Problem solved.

Jesus thank God. I take pride in not complaining about pointless I treat shit like how the forums look etc .... But the floating ad fucking up the website in desktop and mobile is pushing me to not surf the forum as much.

This Marines one is another one like it. The x to close it doesn't even appear until after the banner has surrounded the whole screen and gone away AND clicking that x afterwards sometimes doesn't even make it go away. It just stays there

It's actually unusable now. Can't even read a thread effectively. I think I'm done here after 15 years. Actually struggling to post this as we speak as post button is blocked by multiple ads
