Should have a voting option for "don't want or care about immediate rematches for fights without controversial endings."
 
Max kinda deserves it on paper since he was riding a 14-win streak at FW before losing the belt. I mean, if Stipe gets a rematch after getting KO'd in the first round, it would be logical to give Max a second chance as well.

I'm not too excited about this fight, but not complaining either. It's pretty fair.

No way dude, he's not even a lifelong martial srtist. I'm Aussie and a Volk fan, he comes from rugby and just an amazing athlete, he can get tapped or caught on the feet, his game is only like 5 years deep

With his only significant win being a decision over Aldo, I'd argue that Volkanovski had done less to earn his shot than what KZ has done now.

Dude... stop. KZ is 3 wins from his last 5 fights. He was also stopped twice.

Volk went 7 - 0 in before his title shot. Knocking off Mendes and aldo in Brazil .

I get it you think he deserves the shot but you hamper your own argument with statements like Volk did less than kz to get the title shot come on now.

Not to mention Volk travelling to Canada to be backup in case Frankie or max didn't make the fight.. despite clearly being the no 1 contender at the time.

Reckon kz would travel to Australia and cut the weight on the off chance max fails to make weight? ( or volk )
 
BS rematch. The Aussie Macedonian needs to fight KZ!
