I recently wrote an article on the Aoki lock and went over its strengths and weakness. I also included footage of high-level competitors using it in competition. Interesting, almost like a variation of the Estima lock. Kind of like an IBJFF legal heel hook. I’d be wary if I was competing under that rule set about being called for a DQ by an overzealous ref though.
