Although in the movie, Tom Hanks explicitly shows Liv Tyler and Chris Isaac clapping into the 2-track, the fact that it’s nearly impossible to find detailed song credits (beyond Adam “Fountains of Wayne” Shlesinger and the vocalist he hired to emulate a Beatles-esque sound) for the track leads me to believe that the claps may be synthetic. Feel free to correct me. My favorite “so bad it’s good” movie of all time.

I love The Go-Go's. I think I posted 10 of their songs (twice) in the 80s thread.

And thank you for this, its awesome and wasn't familiar with it

(I prefer the Go-Go's though, but mainly for the uptempo).

I believe Hall & Jane Wiedlin wrote this together, when they were a bf & gf, so neither version is a really a cover, had hoped I could have used it in a bakers , but I think 2 versions of the same song like this, would've been difficult to find 13
