Bellator 260 June 11th Lima vs Amosov

No other fights are known for the event at this time.

Lima (32-8 MMA, 14-3 BMMA) returns to his usual weight class after a failed attempt to capture the middleweight title against Gegard Mousasi at Bellator 250 in October. Lima lost a unanimous decision to Mousasi, which snapped a three-fight winning streak for him. He has yet to defend his welterweight strap since he won the promotion’s welterweight grand prix in October 2019.

As for Amosov (25-0 MMA, 6-0 BMMA), the Ukraine-born welterweight has worked his way from relative unknown to a top contender since joining Bellator. With an eye-catching record, Amosov will look to keep the zero in his loss column. His Bellator wins include victories over Logan Storley, Ed Ruth, David Rickels, Erick Silva, and more.

Good to see that fight finally get booked, it was the right one to make. Very good fight.

WIth this booked, Larkin MIA and Gracie having just lost the stage is set for MVP to beat Anderson and get a title shot.

Apparently Larkin is moving to MW. It's what Thomson was saying on Weighing In a couple weeks back.

Exactly, MVP will be granted a titleshot off a victory against Anderson. Although, J. Jackson is way more deserving.

If Larkin does move to MW then please give us Larkin vs van Steenis, anything else makes no sense.

On the one hand MW is a lot less crowded than WW, on the other hand Larkin's record at MW wasn't very good.

Larkin vs Salter because he won't have an opponent after they announce Moose/Tokov

Don't put Costello yet near title fights because he won't fight Moose, they are like brothers

Wouldn't be a big upset if Amosov won he has the style to beat Lima.

It’s a good fight just concerned about Amasov’s cardio. He was gassed against Storley. Lima won’t grapple him like Storley did so he might tire less quickly but his cardio for 5 rounds is still questionable.

If his cardio holds up then Amosov should be able to at the very least win some rounds on the strength of his wrestling, his chin will get tested for sure as well.

Douglas Lima has THE best leg kicks in the business, so Amosov better have some answer to them, otherwise, he will be leaving the cage in a wheelchair. Amosov has amazing defensive wrestling but IDK if he has the offensive wrestling to take down Doulgas Lima. If he stands and trades with Lima he will not finish the fight. He needs to do the Rory strategy of hide his take downs behind his striking and keep the pressure on Lima. I'm really excited about this fight, Amosov is finally getting the respect he deserves and Bellator is finally doing the right matchmaking.

Rich Chou steps down from his role - awesome fight announced. coincidence?
