I had to look up Benin, thought it must be part of the Muslim world, was happy to see another Africian country, so used to seeing just South Africa or Egypt was beginning to think MMA was not spreading in Africa.

All you need is one big star to win a country, Look at One Championships winning over Mynmar, they were looking so hard for a Thai champ to win over Thais but not working out. So they now focus on USA which is sad, as so many countries out there.

ARES FC was gonna try to bring the sport to Africa they started out stong but fizzled out. I see many great warrior histories that can be brought out from Africa the like Zulu in the south as heavy-weights can you imagine those long lanky guys fighting, can picture it.

I love when a fighter honors his warrior heritage and would like to see more of it, just watched a documentry on the Gurkha in the Himalayans talking about their lung ability and stanima. Want to see a champion MMA fighter show this. I do not know the tribal hertiage of Benin if they are big guys or small fast warriors? But will look forward to finding out, and better yet seeing them show us.

Dear all most west african countries that where colonised by french gov where reluctant to promote mma since french gov was at and just authorised mma in france in 2019 .That is why benin mma was developed by young private mma fans and practitioners .It's the 6 edition of benin fc and we organise only one per year since 2015.The guys here are getting better and more skilled mma fighters.We would like to find fights abroad for them now as we enter our 6 edition of mma competition.I think a few of them will be ready,please help us get those warriors into the international competition to see what they are made of.The best boxer of the world was soweto is from benin.
Most of them are fast they have precision strikes and they are very agile and endurant.
