It isn't democracy that's a problem, it's the corruption. The govt is corrupt in every branch, we have a mercenary type media, and corporations are too powerful, controlling both the media and politicians.

Things used to be less toxic than they are now, but that era has passed, imo. First, there was the hostile takeover using Democracy then suddenly every day Americans are enemies of the State, all our money is spent and we're driven deeper into debt. If that wasn't enough the Obama admin cozied up to America's enemies, betrayed our allies, and opened the floodgates to endless foreigners pouring in across the border. He basically did the opposite of everything a responsible steward and leader of a country should do.

However, in the Crenshaw thread were he was encouraging people to literally report others for "woke ideas" to eradicate "leftism" in the military, which is explicitly political, many of the same posters were all for it.
