Nothing in baseball will ever top that magical summer of 98.

This summer was pretty sweet: Judge breaking the AL record, Miggy getting his 3000 hit and Pujos going over 700 HRs

Old school radio play by play was always so good, and tv announcers so bad.

In college we used to watch NCAA basketball games mute and put the radio on WFAN for the same reason.

The old WFAN play by play guys were outstanding.

Ichiro's RC year, All-Star game in Seattle, record amount of wins... 21 years to get back to playoffs.

Mariners went 5-2 against the Blue Jays this year. But they went 1-2 against Toronto in Toronto.
They'll beat them in the Wild Card and Seattle will get a couple playoff home games vs Houston.

It was very cool, but home runs have never been my favorite part of the game. My two favorite players growing up were Ozzie Smith and Rickey Henderson. But still it’s an awesome achievement
