Brock Lesnar beats Francis Ngannou

Who wins: Brock Lesnar or Francis Ngannou

Lesnar would be forced to work too hard to try to secure a take down which would gas him quickly.

I totally agree. Like I've said I think this is close to a 50/50 fight, maybe 60/40 if we're pretending it's prime steroid Brock Lesnar.

But people have some fixation on Ngannou now, and he's good. But Lesnar is underrated at this point. His resume' is very similar to Ngannou's actually. It's just that he stopped fighting after the two losses and had a disease excuse as well. I think Lesnar lost to better competition as well - Ubereem and Prime Cain vs Stipe and Lewis.

I think Ngannou is moderately overrated at this point and Lesnar is moderately underrated by the MMA fanbase on this site.
 
I don't see how anyone can deny prime Lesnar can beat Francis. Obviously, Francis always has a good chance. All it takes is one punch. But you could say the same about Carwin, and he still got fucked. I don't see Francis stopping the TD of a guy to took down almost everybody. You're betting way too high on a perfect punch landing as soon as the fight starts.

I agree brother

Both have very different skill sets and seems like the old days of ufc

I loved seeing a particular style vs another style

I know we still have many specialists in certain styles, but most are well rounded now

I would love to have seen brock v Francis

Two beats with polar opposite styles going at it

Brock might win, but he was never clean. He popped hot during the USADA era and who knows what he was on prior to that. Not a terrible matchup for Brock though.
 
Errr I’ve always loved Brock and I guess he could have a chance, but Ngannou would probably blast his head off

Brock isn't a UFC fan. He didn't know who Carwin or Cigano or Hunt were at the respective times. He chose to remain ignorant. His fear of those fighters didn't come until he got to the fights. Btw, I was a huge Brock fan, and rooted for him through all his fights.
 
Prime Brock wins this by a fair amount. Current Brock I don’t see him having having much of chance.

There is a lot of anti-Indian sentiment on Sherdog forums. This is due to many male Indian-Americans dating/marrying white women these days, and also due to Indian-Americans having the highest average income among all Americans. Who cares? Prime Lesnar is roided Lesnar.

Does Ngannou get to juice up too? Otherwise I’ll pick Ngannou to gas him out and KO him. Seeing a clean Lesnar compete would be worth the price of admission. Brock would drop more weight than Overeem.

Lesnar has amazing cardio for guy that huge he doesnt really Gas...all francis does he swing wild windmills everywhere with no skill, prime brock would maul him.

A must MUST watch.

Lesnar would never NEVER make the walk to fight Ngannou.

Ngannou lost to Derrick Lewis. Let's hit the brakes on this train for a minute, he's not some demi-god.

Lesnar took down Cain, sure he got raped by Cain as well and lost. But that's prime Cain arguably the best HW to ever exist if you pinpoint talent alone and not base it off resume' (Fedor, Stipe obviously at this point outclass him by a wide margin).

Brock beat steroid Carwin, in the battle of the Welch's Grape Juice championship. He easily dismantled Randy (beat champ Sylvia), he basically dominated Mir both times, he handily won against Hunt. He really only lost twice - to Ubereem (another user) and Pinnacle Cain.

Ngannou has lost to champion run prime Stipe and Derrick Lewis. Do his wins even stack up against Lesnar's? I'd say Brock's are easily better at this point and he held a interim and real championship I believe. I think he defended too? maybe not. It's really a pure style match. Yeah maybe what you say is true, maybe Lesnar gets hit and wilts. We've seen it before. But it's a bit disingenuous to think this fight wouldn't be close betting odds wise, it's near 50/50 really.

*I'm talking Prime Lesnar for the record, not 43 year old potentially off juice Lesnar. But maybe even Lesnar now on tons of gear, maybe still.
 
UFC 100 Brock was one of the best HW performances ever... He would eat Francus alive.

Current version likely gets slept.
