Recently Xi delayed the economic data yesterday and that is a first time that has happened and the Chinese are mad at the US for holding back high tech chips that China needs to produce high technology hardware. But Chinese also needs this to build advance weapon systems and radar systems. All these are putting a huge strain on their economy especially spending on these massive and growing navel fleet. It seems that Chinese are getting more aggressive especially since US has largely left Ukraine without support for additional weapons. Chinese feel that the US has been weakened and especially with the change in congress. They feel they can be more aggressive in the South China Sea.

I think that would be a tactical blunder by China. Isn’t the US Military shifting their focus onto the South China Sea? I remember there being a thread on it a while back.

Taking out their frustrations on the Philippines lol - big mad

Shadow gov wants US and China at war. It will fill their pockets more so than the Ukraine ever can. They're just laying the groundwork now.

It'll be another 10-20 years in the making.

The TS went into like 4 different directions in his OP.
He is saying that China feels embolden to act more aggressively seeing as how the US is dithering in its strong support for Ukraine and is angry at the US for trying to limit its rise. Seems like what he said is giving background motivations for why China is being more aggressive in the South China Sea.

The "high tech chips" and change in congress are also to blame?

He is saying the US limiting China's access to those chips pissed them off, a factor in them acting more aggressively.

I did a news report recently about China being mad at the US for restricting access to those chips.

Chinas been doing this for a while. Its not new. Its the reason the Philippines ended up letting the US build a base in the Philippines when they were completely against the idea before

Don't trust China. China is Asshole.

China accuses US of devising tactics to suppress China despite improvement in relations

BEIJING (AP) — China's foreign minister accused the U.S. on Thursday of devising tactics to suppress China's rise and criticized the Biden administration for adding more Chinese companies to its sanctions lists.

Wang Yi, speaking to media during the annual meeting of China’s legislature, said China's relations with the U.S. have improved since Presidents Xi Jinping and Joe Biden met in November, but America has not fulfilled its promises.

The US should really ratchet up the effort to hamper China's efforts at hegemony in Asia and beyond.

Aren't there a few "China has better quantum computers than the US" threads around here?

How can China have more advanced technology than the US and worse technology than the US at the same time?
