Imagine (in a post covid world) full stadiums filled in a Showtime boxing PPV special featuring

Conor vs Khabib

or

Conor vs Poirier

or

Conor vs Nate Diaz

or

Conor vs Max Holloway

You name it. A proper boxing match with the biggest names in the UFC be an huge PPV attraction. Specially now that a lot of people have become deluded into thinking these guys are better boxers than Conor lmao

YES! Let's keep changing the rules until Conor can start winning again.

Currently Dustin is the better boxer compared to Conor. If you analyze their boxing it's easy to see. Conor doesn't have an inside boxing game and Dustin knows Conor's combos and countered him throughout their last fight. Conor is going to have to change his whole boxing style and add a lot more to his shot selection and combos. His only hope right now is a quick TKO/KO in the first round. Other than that Dustin will pull through as the fight progresses and finish Conor in the inside again. At 155 Dustin has showed he can handle Conor's power, so less likely a quick TKO/KO happens.

maybe they can play darts so conor can win???

Poirier would handle conor in a boxing match. Max too.

He was beat by those leg kicks, right before the knockout he was just not moving right and slowly backing..he was in trouble ...nothing he could do

Deluded blindfolded Conor hate. Conor was winning, even Nate agrees and Nate wants to fight Dustin next so he isn't proping Conor to make his next match look better. He was winning the exchanges, until his leg was fucked which means his boxing stance is useless because of his crazy leveraged shorts to hit these angles depending on the front leg. It was clear how the tide turned once the leg was in pain. People claiming suddenly Poirier and Max win a boxing match against him are insane.

No it's not hate it's a proper analysis of the fight and his boxing compared to Dustin's. I wanted Conor to win so the fight with Pacquaio would've moved forward. But any interest of Conor in a boxing match with elite level boxers is off the table after that performance. Conor got outboxed, just because he found some success in the first round doesn't mean he won the boxing in the fight. He got countered easily during the last part of round 1 and all of round 2. The calf kicks is not the reason he lost, before the calf kicks he was tired already from clinch fighting and was in desperation mode. He was slower in the second round and it was easier for Dustin to counter him. Conor got hurt by a counter right hook that he was hitting all fight, then stepped in and finished him off with inside boxing. The calf kicks had nothing to do with that. Conor was already stationary before the calf kicks. Conor's boxing hasn't improved and Dustin's did, it's that simple. Conor needs to completely change his fighting style and completely change his boxing style if he wants to beat Dustin in the trilogy fight. His combos/patterns/timing has been figured out.

There won't be any interest for him boxing elite level boxers from what was shown in the Dustin fight. PAC would've done him way worse than Dustin. Boxers punch harder than what mma fighters are used to and have overall better chins. Conor TKO/KO people in mma. Floyd walked him down and wasn't worried at all about his power. Compare the way Floyd fought PAC and how he fought Conor. That is an easy way to gauge the punching power difference.
