If it were boxing with gloves Riggs would have whoop the dog shit outta Lombard, Riggs is a legit boxer in terms of his skill level.

Chris Leben was more cut out for Bare knuckle than riggs, Riggs is too technical with his boxing. his slip game, his defense, spacing, he is not a brawler so Bareknuckle wasnt really for him he just did it becuae he needed money

I agree with you 100 percent. I have been following Joe Riggs since 2006, he has legit boxing skill. He was one of the first fighters who adopted a traditional boxing stance in terms of standing at an angle and using his lead hand to set up his cross. Of course he is a right handed southpaw which allows him to catch opponents off guard.

He finished many fights early in his career with that. Conor in his prime had a great side stance and was very fast and dynamic. Problem is, Riggs lead hand would hone in on him and Conor even at his peak was hittable. Riggs even now out of his prime can take strikes.

True and at one point, Joe fought as a heavyweight and did alright for himself. He fought Herb Dean believe it or not.

I am not trying to be dismissive but I just cannot imagine because Joe has that American style boxing which is somewhat side ways but aside from that, he has a well developed lead hand, reach as well as evasive footwork that can circle away from the opponent real well.

Conor goes in and out but is very hittable, he also lacks chin against someone of his own size. He got tagged by Brimage, Brando, Mendes and Siver had some decent moments and a sweep on him. All mentioned fighters are pretty much below 5,7. Riggs is like 6 feet tall with decent size and chin.
