Aerts by longevity on competing against high level
Aerts is a heavyweight , he got KOed lots of time . Those heavy all beat and lose to each other everytime while the 70 KG ( and other ) have been very consistent .
Will anything surpass the golden age of K-1 with all those huge legend KOing each other ? no.
Is the inconstancy of the heavyweight something that block their greatness P4P ? definitively .
Jerome Lebanner almost lose to old Nokweed Davy .
You'll never see a prime Buakaw losing to a fighter 34 KG smaller than him in K-1 ( or any other setting ) it just doesn't happen ( I know that body shape is unrealistic ) .
Buakaw and other great ( albeit from smaller weight ) like Sittichai , Petrosian , Souwer , Masato , Superbon , Sato , Takeda ,Takuyuki , Marat , RVR , Kaew , Wei Rui , Qui , Petpanomrung , Petchtanong , Ilias , Tenshin , Kyshenko , Yodsanklai , etc... are P4P better .
I've never seen Buakaw really lose under Kickboxing rules , except against Masato 2 which should of went an extended round and Buakaw would have most likely won as he was piercing Masato leg up and against Sato ( a guy that Buakaw crushed twice , also Buakaw looked like he got over-traiend or something at Por Pramuk ) .
Jerome , Badr , Alerts , Sammy , Hoost , etc... all received humiliating and embarrassing defeat ( not just losing , but getting outclassed many time and in their prime against guys that they shouldn't lose ) . in many period of their career . Buakaw and Petrosian and other smaller great never .
