Not sure really, that's a close fight. Mendonca does throw a lot of very hard offence, I'd probably lean to him but only 55/45 kind of confidence.

Arent both of them former LFA champs? I would have rather seen Mendonca against someone who wouldnt wrestle too much, like Mota or Nikaev bit this is a close match up, IMO.

I assumed Bellator saw potential in Shabliy, I mean they must have offered him good money to disregard his previous UFC offer and sign with Bellator. But they seem to not want to promote him too much, at least they seem more interested in the few UK fans who will tune in to watch Shabliy destroy Davis, than to promote Shabliy in the US.

Mendonca is very fun on the stand up but needs to avoid wrestlers so he can shine. Giving him an even match up against a man who can wrestlefuck him is a bad idea, IMO. Even a fight against Farraldo would have been better.

Okay now this card is pretty stacked. I like it. Main and co-main event is meh but there are some serious rankings implicated fights on here. Shabliy needs to fight. I hate that he’s first on the prelims but fuck it. I like Willis at 155 but 170 isn’t bad and Mendonca should stand with him. It’ll be a good one.
