My Ohio power bar came just as I finished my deadlifts. So I used it for the second bench session. Man, it felt great being able to actually get a death grip on the bar. I felt like I was able to lock in everything tighter. My old bar may as well have had no knurling compared to this. I love it.

Family planned a last minute trip to the Mecca of American culture and sophistication this week, Panama City Beach!

Meal prepped all day Saturday and brought a fully stocked Yeti down to keep me on track through the week. Found a gym that did weekly passes. 25 bucks for 5 days, not bad. I haven’t been in a commercial Gold’s gym type spot in nearly 10 years. I don’t really count the barbell gyms I’ve been at. It was different but overall still a good workout. There’s a few squat stations but only one really nice rogue power rack that I’m used to and one deadlift platform. Will have to snag them tomorrow
