You're mischaracterizing what they said. They aren't arguing that booster shots wouldn't help, they are arguing that the booster shots would be better spent on the unvaccinated.

The message in the OP is pretty clear that they support initial vaccinations and even says that the booster vaccines would be of better use getting more people initially vaccinated. I don't see how anyone can argue that that's the message here (not saying I agree with it or not, but that's what these people are saying).

Are you intentionally missing the fact most people might agree they work overall, but aren't needed for a huge group of people? The flu vaccine works, I haven't had one in 10 years and don't plan on ever getting one again.

The FDA hasn't authorized boosters yet, except for in the case of immunocompromised people. We should probably wait until it actually becomes a thing before being outraged.

But that's precisely one of the reasons they resigned. The FDA has not authorized boosters except in a few cases, yet Biden has plans to announce boosters soon anyway. He isn't even going through the FDA anymore.
