Coinbase is not only heavily compromised (the IRS requested and received records from
them), but even worse, they are completely anti-gambling. They will close down your account if you send or receive money from sportsbooks. Hopefully, you still get the money through, but they are a Bitcoin client to avoid.
There are other Bitcoin clients that are gambling-friendly, including the one I use, BRD.
Anywho, I made a withdrawal request earlier today. I always anticipated requesting a cashier's check, but I actually went for Bitcoin because I want to reinvest it in another sportsbook as soon as possible.
When phoning in, I was on hold for a good 45 minutes, a personal record for a non-government line. Keep in mind that I've talked to their payouts division several times before, and in each case I got through in 30 seconds or less.
After confirming my information for the withdrawal and applying the Free Payout day, the guy told me that due to the massive deluge of requests, they are only guaranteeing transfer by September 30th. Yuck.
