do you sleep well?

Didn’t sleep well today. I went to bed at 6 and got up at 9.

I sleep for about 6-8 hours. My body won't let me go to bed before 10:30 PM. It's annoying. lol

Pretty good, most of the time.

I sometimes have periods where its a struggle to sleep

8 hour a night crew checking in. In bed most nights before 10pm and up by 6am, sometimes 5am. No alarm unless I have to ensure I am up a certain time.

No matter the challenges or stresses in my life, I have always been able to sleep. Shut my mind down and just doze off. I realize now how much of a gift that is when I see how many people struggle to sleep and how much it impacts everything else in their life. Lack of sleep is like a multiplier for problems and impacts findings solutions.

Not to rub it in to non sleepers but I can also pretty much sleep on demand.

If I have a few hours to kill at any time of the day and decide I should grab a nap, I can usually make myself fall asleep within about 10 minutes.

If I am in another city for work and realize I will have a late dinner meeting and maybe drinks and social time that will go deep into the night and yet I have to be up early the next day and alert, I can simply find any time in the day and bank 20 or 2 hours sleep. Whatever I want, whenever I want.

Guys with sleep issues in my office hate me for that. lol.

To continue on the theme of saying I am not trying to rub it in, as I rub it in...

I can also sleep pretty near regardless of noise or outside distractions as long as I know what to expect.

You could have someone working a jack hammer right outside my window and as long as I know to expect that noise it won't wake me. If unexpected it will wake me, I will recognize what it is and say 'ok go back to sleep' and pretty much immediately do so and not be bothered by it again.

On the flip side, if i can tell myself before going to sleep to listen for a noise and wake up and no matter how quiet, if it hits my ears i will immediately wake up. An example is if I tell myself to listen for someone coming home late at night because I need to talk to them. I will hear the door open and sometimes have even heard just the lock engaging and woke up when normally i would not hear any of that even they come in like an elephant.

I sleep between 6 and 7 hours at day and I can work with that. When I sleep 8 I'm fucking Neo in the Matrix.

I try to not oversleep on weekends because it ruins my week.

I've realized that I sleep much better when the room is in perfect order.

Not looking at screens for about 1 hour before bed and not working out for about 3 helps too.

My ex was like that. She always fell asleep in like 5 minutes.. in the meanwhile I was rolling in the bed for a good while.

50/50. Last night I fell asleep re-listening to Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter, I keep missing the best part of the book.

Haven't slept wel since my first son was born. Got worse after my first son obtained a medical condition that I rather not say that sometimes requires me to treat/monitor at night. Then when my 2nd was born it didn't help. On a good note we got them both sleeping together in the same room for this past week. Yes I usually wake up at least 1-2x per night for whatever reason, but that has helped a lot. On a good night if I get in my training earlier in the day I go to sleep when my kids sleep. Maybe wake up once briefly and then go back to bed and get 8-9 hours total. On average I would say about 5-6 hours interruppted 1-2x per night. If I could get all my workouts in during the day I could probably average 6-7 hours.

I always sleep well. Check out these numbers. I just got a smartwatch so I'm testing out its abilities.

The downside to my smartwatch is that I tried using it to watch porno but it seems like all the directors use the shakey camera technique now. (I just made that joke up now. I'm so clever when I'm well rested)

Takes me no more than two minutes to fall asleep. I slew threw the night usually. I probably don’t get enough, I usually go to bed about 1030-12 and I wake up at 445am

Too much tossing and turning then waking up achy.

I always try to get a solid 7 hours of good sleep but I have periods where sleep aint great like this week. Just changed timezones again back to Asia so my body is still adjusting to the sleep schedule switch. Last couple nights haven't been very good. Should be able to get some good sleep next week though

I have trouble sleeping usually. I slept 4 hours a day for 2+ weeks recently, and I was going crazy. I hoped I'd sleep in more since it's the weekend now but my body refuses to stay asleep.

Unless I smoke weed.

I do bjj & kickboxing. It's very strange but if I train late in bjj I can sleep ok but if I train late in the evening in kickboxing I have a hard time falling asleep. Last night I ended up only sleeping like 2 hours & went to work in the morning feeling tired. I think it may be from the nervous energy I get from sparring. After I do bjj I feel really relaxed like I got a full body work out.

Otherwise it hasn't been bad lately trying to sleep. Sometimes when times are bad for me & I have a lot of depression & anxiety then I have difficulty sleeping for a while. It is definitely from thinking about things too much.

Ever since a car accident in 2001, my sleep is all over the place.

my sleep has been really fucking deep lately. there are even times when i just nap a bit and it felt like i napped for hours. it's really weird. i'm also dreaming a lot.
