Give it up for Maurice Gibb he play the bass so fine don't ya agree?
Pantera - Floods
Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the moon
Megadeth - Holy Wars
Larry Carlton. Two takes.
Deep Purple - Child in Time (Blackmore)
Pretty simplistic, but the first real metal solo I learned on guitar
Love that one. Tracked it down a while back. It was Alice Cooper's band. Can't recall their names. Of course Lou himself has done great stuff, especially love his guitar on the album The Blue Mask (which also featured the great Robert Quine).
Bohemian Rhapsody, Queen, Brian May.
More of a theme guy than something based on pure technicality. This fits most perfectly. Last 1:20 of the song. And really the whole ending to it. Absolutely fits with the song as a whole, and feels like demons rising up. Or something lol
Speaking of thematic solo! Floods absolutely nails it. The light rain falling in the back and just somber feel to it in general just feels perfect for the song . Really ties the song together. Great choice
So many, this is up there..
It's cliche, but Comfortably Numb for me.
Although this one is good which most of you haven't probably heard:
Always really like this one:
Separate names with a comma.
