Ronda VS Holly
Seen them odds and thought it was outrageous. Didn't make a bet and the rest is history.

Conor VS Nate l
Not so obvious but I was pretty confident Conor wouldn't be able to get into Nate's head. One of Conor's greatest weapons.

I stumbled across this part of sherdog and found a very elaborate breakdown of why the Joker was going to beat Jacare. It was so convincing I even got a few friends to tail it as well.

Leon Edwards opening as the underdog to Khamzat Chimaev made me want to start betting.

That's certainly one of the most recent examples I can think of with crazy value for sure. At least on paper. He could Smesh.

Tim Sylvia vs Randy Couture was the fight that motivated me to deposit money on an online bookie for the first time. I was so certain Sylvia was going to murder Couture that I wanted to cash in on some easy money even though he was something like -250. I lost around $500 that night.

was an avid follower/watcher of mma. When i saw the opening odds for Weidman Silva II, felt compelled to throw down on Weidman.

Seeing how Chris's career has gone since then, kinda feel like i got in right at last call lol.

After watching the second Liddell - Jackson fight I somehow found out Rampage was something like a +220 underdog. That’s when I found out there was real money to be made... and lost.

First fight I bet on?

Nate Diaz being a damn near 2:1 dog vs Jim Miller in I wanna say 2011.

Finally had the balls to start betting in 2009 and deposited $100 in 5dimes. My first ever bet:

Needless to say I felt pretty fucking stupid when Aoki outstruck Shaolin, and Dida got clowned by Kikuno.

A year later I was still playing degen parlays lol:

UFC 128 was the start of me going on a $40k win streak.

I've bet here and there on random things over the years, so its not really my first bet, but the thing that finally drew me into paying attention and betting regularly was seeing Nunes as an underdog to Rousey.

I had dabbled a little on and off starting in 2004, but when I really started betting real $ was 2006 when I smashed Matt Hughes vs Royce Gracie at an average of about -250 (had bets at multiple Vegas casinos). I knew Hughes should have been at least -800 or so (he ended up looking like -5000 of course). But I honestly was looking at that as basically free money when the books opened the lines.

Bet $200 on Matt serra to win inside against GSP at +1200 or so. I had done a bjj seminar with the right before and thought he could sub him....fell of the sofa when he ko'd him and ran to my computer to make sure I did not hit his sub line. It was my first bet over $50 haha

Barnett vs. Arlovski. I thought Barnett was one of the grittiest fighters out there and that was Arlovski on the other end of the spectrum, so it seemed like a no-brainer.

Betting against Arlovski has seemed like a no brainer for a long time. And yet if you bet on Arlovski every fight since 2014 when he started his 2nd ufc run, you would be up a lot of money.

He was +400 against Bigfoot and Browne, +300 against Alibini and Boser, and around +200 against Struve/Tuivasa/Rothwell/Lins.

I don't even think he's been a favorite once since 2014.

New to mma betting. Credit to whoever here posted the Arlovksi Teixeira parlay recently. Won +8.5 or so on that one. I had the gut feeling on Glover too.

Him being meme KO'd numerous times and getting the rep as a guy who cannot take any sort of a punch at HW is the key. I mean, even after ALL the fights you listed, I still go into an Arlovski fight thinking "Okay...when does he eat one and face plant?" I mean, I even bet him in some of the fights you referenced and even STILL I was thinking that LOL. The reality is, his chin issues got WAY overblown. He's nowhere near as fragile as he was made out to be.

I think the fight got me to MMA betting was UFC Fight Night 120 when i had own 750$
I think had mark hunt,Poirier. Among few others.
