Freebie Alert Thread

Blackout Z: Slaughterhouse Edition is free on Steam:

I haven’t had a workingnPC till yesterday so....
This is the part that's going to kill you.

You didn't need one.

Ownership licensing is all maintained in the cloud, and all someone has to do is register a free account with Epic (or any of these stores) to grab giveaways. Steam, GoG, Ubisoft, EA, and Humble Bundle are others that often give games away. You don't have to download the launchers, or even own a PC to claim the games. You could do it with a phone.

I've claimed over 240 free games in the past two years alone just tracking freebies across all stores (this doesn't count Indiegala or Free Key spam bullshit, either). These companies give away games faster than anyone could possibly hope to play them.

BRB, Imma go walk off a very tall cliff.

Day 7 is one that I think has been given away on the PSN and/or XBL, but it's the first time it's been free on PC:

If you just log into the GOG Galaxy launcher you can claim this game at the main page by agreeing to their newsletter (which of course you can immediately cancel with the "Unsubscribe" feature at the bottom of the first piece of mail sent to you at your email account):

Those in North America and the EU can watch this Twitch stream for an hour to claim Black Desert Online (just mute it in the background, possibly) and some dumb free crap with the game. Spare yourself this hassle if you previously claimed this game when Steam gave it away free earlier this year:

Here are some all-store historical lows worth noting:

Jurassic World Evolutions for $4.49:

There's been a leak for the Epic giveaways and they've been right every time.
Jurassic World Evolutions is supposed to be the last one.

Not a freebie but Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is $5.99 (down from $39.99) on Steam. Fun stealth-based RTS game. Think Desperados but ninjas.

We've a sales thread here but since dawgs are mixing it up with discounts ITT, DOOM Eternal is 23€ right now until 09.01 via PSN, which is a steal for a celebrated 70€ title published only this year. If you've waited, don't anymore and jump on this.

Crying Suns is available for free on the Epic store until January 14

https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/crying-suns/home

"Crying Suns is a tactical rogue-lite that puts you in the role of a space fleet commander as you explore a mysteriously fallen empire. In this story rich experience, each successful run will uncover the truth about the Empire... and yourself as well."
