Hey guys, been 5 or so years since I've posted here and couldn't even find my old account in the member search. Anyway, I started posting here when I was around 19 and I'm 30 now.

Did powerlifting in my early-mid 20s and got to a 315 bench, 485 squat and 550 deadlift at 185lbs.

Then I got married, had some health issues, got fat, and haven't exercised regularly in almost 3 years.

I'm 215lbs, and in the worst shape of my entire life. I'm active at work in a trade but haven't put my fork down in 3 years. It's time to put the fork down.

The goal is to get to 170lbs by this time next year.

With my health issues (heart related), I've consulted doctors and all told me to start slow with walks or cycling with a moderate heartrate and slowly building intensity. So that's what I'm going to do. I'll be walking and hitting the bike when I dont feel like walking. Pushups, pull-ups, and dips just to get some strength back while keeping the heartrate low.

Glad to be back guys, hope I see some familiar faces
