Two of the biggest stars of WMMA's early days**. If the prime versions of each were to fight at a catchweight of ~140 lbs, how would it have gone?
I'm sort of leaning toward Ronda by submission Round 2. While people often say that Ronda's initial dominance was due to a weak schedule thanks to the shallow talent pool at the time (and I agree), in this case I think her resume might actually be better than Gina's. Plus Carano's ground game was always suspect in comparison to her standup.
**Yes, I know there were earlier pioneers and arguably better fighters, but few got the widespread publicity these two did.
