Greater Loss: Chimaev/Edwards or Tony/Khabib?

The greater loss is losing a prospect that looked as good as Chimaev.

Tony/Khabib... everyone now knows how that would have went.

Edwards/Chimaev... who cares, I just want to see him back healthy against anyone.

Edwards/Chimaev

After the Tony x Kevin Lee fight I was no longer as excited to see Tony against Khabib, seeing a sick/drained Lee mount and take down Tony repeatedly made it pretty clear how a fight would go between the two

Edwards/Chimaev not happening still stings :(

Khabib vs. Tony due to styles and rankings IMO, though I think this answer may change over time. The further we get away from prime Tony, the less desirable that matchup seems.

Khamzat was a standout grappler with one-punch KO power, and we'll never know how high his ceiling really was. Especially if Edwards puts on a good performance next fight, we'll always theorize how he would've done vs. Borz.

Troll thread. Don’t feed it.

Losing out on Chimaev fighting again vs losing out on tony/khabib I would have to say Chimaev retiring is the much greater loss.

Hmm the clear number 1&2 of the best division, or some dude who might turn out to be really good vs a top ten guy...

Tony vs Khabib no contest
It’s this generations Rickson vs Sakuraba

At one point we were like...

Lmao. There is no fight that touches Khabib/Tony.

Brock/Fedor was a loss back in the day but that fight wasn't teased for years.
