Well, he disproved that himself by coming back years later to fight in the weight class above, the weight class that he previously claimed to not be able to compete in because he couldn't put on the weight. The weight he already put on by walking around at 192-197 for the majority of his championship career.

Oh yeah, and he left right before USADA and only came back to fight an aging paper champ that he knew was his easiest possible opponent with the highest rewards.
