Crime Headlining Crime Megathread Vol 4.

i will add that this tulsa footage shows yet another fail to use non-lethal means. pepper spray, tasers, 2-on-1 grappling. all of that shit puts the cops in danger. they fucked up by losing track of his hands.

if the guy doesnt keep his hands visible and doesnt respond to commands, hes stalling for time.

The scary part about that guy is his hands were visible the entire time except the split second he got his gun. He deliberately was keeping them on the wheel. It was a conscious decision to keep the cops from expecting he had a weapon until he had the opportune time to grab it.

They expect absolutely no resistance to their harassment & terrorism, so when they do finally meet resistance, they're flabbergasted.
2019 was tide tide pod challenge, 2020 is the car surfing challenge...just the sheer stupidity of that person.

It must be harder than it looks.
Jackie Chan makes it look so easy.

He's Asian. The reason you never see Asians at BLM rallies that they all already car-surfed out of there on their first try.

I think he was texting his friend the whole time, then stalling to buy time. But the charges nor the reports make reference to anything illegal in the car, nor even the gun being illegal. Its pretty bizarre. But they must have been up to some real shit for Matt to willingly come to an active police scene and be getaway driver for what he thought was a double homocide on cops.

i dont think the charges are necessarily the best way to make sense of what happened. if there wasn't a charge for the gun, then maybe the gun was legal. but if the gun was illegal, then there should either be a charge for the gun, or if there was no gun, there should be a charge for taking the officer's weapon. "nothing illegal in the car" may be taken literally to mean, after the crime, there was nothing illegal in it when searched, since the perp took the gun with him. it also becomes a question of whether the gun is to be characterized as in the car or on his person; it appears to have been in the car, but if they can't prove that, maybe they don't record it that way.

notice when the cop on the perp's right side falls backwards into the road after being shot (final sequence, from the dash cam) he tries to draw his weapon (reaches to his right hip). he probably would have done that during the grappling if the perp had actually tried to take his weapon. they were both shocked to hear the gun go off ("what the fuck") and wouldn't have been shocked if they were in the process of being actively disarmed by the perp.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The 17-year-old boy killed and another man hurt Monday in a north Minneapolis shooting were members of a Republican congressional candidate’s campaign.

The Lacy Johnson campaign says the two victims were members of the outreach team and were not performing campaign duties when the shooting occurred Monday afternoon at the intersection of North Fremont and Dowling avenues.

According to the Lacy Johnson campaign and Minneapolis police, the shooting is not believed to be a politically motivated attack.

Minneapolis police say a group of people were standing outside of a Super USA convenience store when one or more shooters opened fire. The teenager and the man were hit, and emergency crews brought them to Hennepin Healthcare for treatment. The teenager was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

A good reason to circle back to the argument of whether or not it is justified to shoot when someone disobeys an order NOT to reach into their pocket/waistband/bag/glove compartment. It took this guy less than a second to produce a gun and shoot down two police officers, executing one of them with a final shot to the head on the ground.

Girl, 17, 'lured a Domino's delivery man to an empty home with a fake pizza order before killing him during a botched robbery that also left her boyfriend dead

A 17-year-old girl shot a new father dead after luring him to an abandoned house with a fake pizza order, according to court documents.
Jaelynn Billups tried to rob Joshua Ungersma, 37, while he was delivering the pizza but shot him when he asked someone to call police in Lafayette, Indiana, witnesses alleged.
Police found Mr Ungersma dead on North 16th Street on August 31 after there were reports of 'shots fired' at around 11.15pm.

  • Mr Ungersma is believed to have shot Vanmeter dead in self-defense before asking a neighbor to call the police

@HomeCheese, sounds like she was just taking down a gunman. Surely the driver had no right to kill a guy over a pizza. Right? :)

What is it about this incident that I should be concerned with? I'm happy to be outraged if you give me a good reason.

That the dead delivery man thought it was ok to shoot someone over a pizza, then they arrest the person who took out this active shooter.

Damn, that bodycam footage is sad.

I from this point forward am giving officers the benefit of the doubt unless it is an obvious murder.

Just fucking comply dumbasses.

Another attack on law enforcement

Wow, I remember in 2016 people standing behind police officers filling up their cars at gas stations...people had their backs there for a while. We need to do this again. Man what a thankless job, now you have to worry about losers targeting you
