I would 100% favor Fury over Ngannou in MMA!

sherdog finally comes back and you reintroduce yourself with a textbook shitthread just in case anyone forgot about all your other ones

Ngannou would probably just try to take him down and submit him. He has a massive grappling advantage but Fury showed great takedown defense against Wilder the 2nd time out. Needless to say if Franics stands and boxes with Fury he'd be embarassed badly

Why go that far? Wilder alone would absolutely fuck Ngannou unless off course Ngannou remeber there Is a thing called "takedown" he can use

Ngannu was scared of striking with Derek Lewis, he would shit himself against any top Heavyweight boxer.

Ngannou kills Fury in MMA or boxing

Fury got outboxed by obese garbageman John McDermott

I'm dead ass serious.

1- Fury's jab and boxing would overwhelm Francis, he'd gas him out and Ngannou wouldn't be able to find "de wei".

2- Francis is not landing a bomb. Let's get that out the way. Even if he clips Fury with a lil something, Tyson would eat a couple like Stipe did, that's a FACT.

3- Ngannou is not taking Fury down and keeping him there; he doesn't have any offensive wraslin' and while he's capable of throwing up a Kimura n shit, I just don't see Fury allowing himself to get in such a bad position.

4- Fury's SIZE and REACH will make shit sweet for him.

Easy money playboy.
Fury > Ngannou in MMA , not a single doubt in my mind.

We're back, what it do baby!?

EDIT:
5- Ngannou isn't landing any kicks but leg kicks. He'll be back peddling most of the time and won't be able to step into a nice powerful kick.

Even if Ngannou's wrestling and BJJ doesn't look impressive in the top ten in the UFC, it's still too much for Fury to handle. Fury would get SMASHED in MMA just like Ngannou would get smashed in boxing. End of.

This. MMA is a different animal. Ngannou isn’t a great grappler compared to other mixed martial artists, but he’s a black belt compared to Tyson Fury.

The octagon alone puts Fury at a great disadvantage. I think people underestimate the adjustments required when you’re used to fighting in a ring.

Fury’s body would be too out of shape for MMA. If he was a few years younger I’d agree, but he’s got a boxer’s body, not an mma body. He’d be done in 1-2 leg kicks.

People talk about takedowns as if a double leg from distance is the only way for him to take him down. Just clinch the boxer and problem solved. Boxers don't know what to do when they are on the clinch being hugged, they don't know muay thai, they wait for the referee to separate them there. Push him around while in the clinch until you reach the cage and you can trip him there easily. They won't even know how to escape from the cage (this happened to a boxer in the contender series)

Or are we going to pretend that Fury "will knock out everyone in MMA" before they even clinch with him while also worrying about kicks and takedowns from outside his jab distance? LMAO Boxing fans are delusional

We all know that. Even wilder would win.

Ngannu was scared of striking with Derek Lewis, he would shit himself against any top Heavyweight boxer.
That was the fight after the Stipe fight and he was still mentally broken. He's regained his aggression since then. Look at his last FOUR fights. ALL were first round starchings of top heavyweights. JDS was the only one who even lasted a minute against him.

I find it funny how fans like yourself will take a fighter's worst performance and then extrapolate that to his whole career, conveniently ignoring all evidence that the fighter is more than that isolated sample, which is especially funny when there's more recent and relevant evidence that shows otherwise.

The bottom line is that Ngannou is 10-2 in the UFC with ALL of his wins by finishes, 9 (T)KO and 1 submission. He's an extremely aggressive and capable fighter. Whether you think he would "shit himself" against a top heavyweight boxer is irrelevant because that boxer is getting taken down and pounded out or submitted easily in MMA, and a boxer will beat a MMA guy in boxing easily, regardless of whether he "shits himself" or not.

PS - I would actually give Ngannou a better chance than most in boxing because of the X factor of his titanium chin and heavy hands. If you look at fights like the Overeem fight, Overeem beat him to the punch and landed HARD, but Ngannou just ate it like it was nothing and fucking buried him with a counter. It's still a long shot of course, but he presents more of a threat than most MMA guys would in boxing.

No lol

A couple of leg kicks would be all it takes. Francis would rip Fury’s shoulder out of socket or take his soul with Gn’P.

Fury tools him in boxing obviously.

Fury doesn't have a good style for mma, defensive style and pretty much a point / volume fighter. Not sure he's build is that suitable for mma either, it would be easy for a more compact wrestler to get under his punches.

Boxing doesnt work in MMA that well and Conor almost took the #1 p4p boxers head clean off with an uppercut in his first ever boxing match.

Agreed.

Unless you're a HW world class kickboxer, wrestler or BJJ specialist, you really don't want any part of Tyson Fury.

And even if you are great at 1 of those things I listed.....you've never faced anybody like Fury before, ever. The guy's 6'9 with fluid, quick, accurate punching.

Boxers, especially in the case of Fury, rely heavily on their footwork - Ngannou would seriously only need low kicks to win that fight.
