I would 100% favor Fury over Ngannou in MMA!

Boxing doesnt work in MMA that well and Conor almost took the #1 p4p boxers head clean off with an uppercut in his first ever boxing match.
In the fight he got TKOd in.. Walked down Mexican style by a retired 40 year old boxer

Ngannu fights like Bob Sapp 2.0 these days, so quite possible.

If he used even 5% of his entire MMA skill-set though he wins easily.

Ngannou would have enough wrestling to take down Fury imo

Point 3 might be the hiccup...

Francis is not the smartest man, as we all know, but if he didn't spam takedowns for the entire fight then he'd be a sitting duck.

I'd like to see it, but Francis isn't in the same league as a fighter in general, clout wise, so it would never happen in the ring or octagon.
Well you should know better, because Francis is a very smart guy.

Also he is definitely big enough as a star to fight Fury. Just compare their IG followers. Fury has 3,8 million while Francis is at 1,5 million.

As for how the fight goes. Tyson isn’t knocking out Francis in the first round. The striking should be competitive with the advantage going to Fury of course. But Francis will have enough time to use his kicks and wrestling to finish Fury. Yes, wrestling. Francis may not be a D1 wrestler but he’s definitely able to take down and GnP the shit out of Fury.

It’s like with Conor. He may not be a BJJ guru, but he would definitely choke the life out of Floyd if they would hit the mat

In mma who knows, Tyson fury coulda developed some rudimentary take down defence and stuffed francis’s takedowns???

Dillian whyte would be a better shout

Former kickboxer who has had a fight in mma

He has also trained in mma in the past, so could cross over

Tyson has a punchers chance. Ngannou has MMA skills plus a punchers chance, and kicks.

Even if Ngannou's wrestling and BJJ doesn't look impressive in the top ten in the UFC, it's still too much for Fury to handle. Fury would get SMASHED in MMA just like Ngannou would get smashed in boxing. End of.

This.

Boxing fans are delusional.

He's one of the top guys who would likely stand, so it's very possible.

The low kicks can be effective or not make much of a difference as seen with boxers going to kickboxing or MMA. Some of them can't take them at all, while others don't seem bothered, and others don't need to take them since their opponent doesn't use them, or isn't good enough at using them, or is just tentative, and the boxer walks in and lands a KO.

Francis throws them anyway, so he would use them against Fury. And, like said, it could go either way. Fury's tough as nails, but also not used to taking them.

I'm dead ass serious.

1- Fury's jab and boxing would overwhelm Francis, he'd gas him out and Ngannou wouldn't be able to find "de wei".

2- Francis is not landing a bomb. Let's get that out the way. Even if he clips Fury with a lil something, Tyson would eat a couple like Stipe did, that's a FACT.

3- Ngannou is not taking Fury down and keeping him there; he doesn't have any offensive wraslin' and while he's capable of throwing up a Kimura n shit, I just don't see Fury allowing himself to get in such a bad position.

4- Fury's SIZE and REACH will make shit sweet for him.

Easy money playboy.
Fury > Ngannou in MMA , not a single doubt in my mind.

We're back, what it do baby!?

EDIT:
5- Ngannou isn't landing any kicks but leg kicks. He'll be back peddling most of the time and won't be able to step into a nice powerful kick.
Lol what a fanboy this skinny dude

Eric Nicksick has said that Francis has actually embraced wrestling wholeheartedly since the first Stipe fight -- not only defensively, but offensively. Supposedly he actually enjoys taking his sparring/rolling partners down and working his GnP. And he has multiple submission wins as it is, spread throughout the regional circuit and the UFC. Then there's his low kicks, which are traditionally the bane of any classical boxer not used to dealing with them. And finally his chin -- Francis has been proven to have an iron jaw (against MMA-tier punchers, anyway) wearing 4 oz gloves.

That being said, Tyson has the kind of build that makes him potentially difficult to scoop up and take down. You know how when the shorter fighter is in on a single or something and the commentators (usually DC) talk about how it sucks taking down taller guys because it always feels like some part of them is touching the ground no matter what you do? Fury does have that going for him, but he also has a high center of gravity and admits to having no idea what he's doing on the ground. That said, his reach, accuracy, timing, and punching power would likely be the best of any fighter Francis has faced.

If Ngannou came in with the right gameplan -- wrestling, clinch work, hunting subs, calf kicks -- then I think he gets it done. But if he tries to throw hands with Tyson he probably gets slept for the first time in his career or at the very least loses a very lopsided Decision after getting absolutely battered.
