Sorry I'm so infrequently on sherdog at the moment.....again.

Yeah I will be. Probably buy up there next time around. I'll be there between 2-5 years so makes sense.
 
Trained on 14th Jan. Did some squats and....stuff. I think I did 4 sets of 5 @100 to not jump in too much because I literally haven't been lifting otherwise.

Cardio
Went for a 13 miler. Did a 10 miler last Sunday by myself, average 8 min 49 per mile and HR 147 bpm.
Today went with the wife and baby in the carrier.
Pissing with rain and just not very nice. Excellent running weather.
Average was 9 min 09 per mile and hr was 150 bpm.

Went for a long walk with the wife and carrying the baby. Was maybe 6 hours of walking but only a few inclined and declines, maybe 50m total.

Went for a LSD run
Garmin didn't log it in the end.

12 miler. Average pace overall was 8 min 32, but first mile was sub 8 min and mile 9, 10 and 11 were around the 8 min mark.
HR average overall was 154, however there were some points HR was around 165 as I wanted to keep some runs at sub 8 min 20 pace.

Elevation gain overall was going to be pretty low.

Weighed myself when I got home and was 205lbs. I am not shredded lets put it like that.

I wonder what my pace would be if I dropped down to 190lbs.

What I haven't got on this log is I do an hour (2 x 30 min) cardio sessions cyclign too and work (average is only 120 bpm ish). I also do pull ups and dips at home before I either cycle to work or when I get home. Occasionally hanging leg raises with it as well.

Ran home - 5 and a bit miles. Slow as expected after not running really for 3 weeks.

Got a long run with with wife cycling with baby

Average 9.02 miles per hour. HR Average 141 bpm.
Total distance was 9.5 miles to ease back in to it.

Weight on completion of run was 206lbs.


Was hard to run fast weirdly enough. Probably trying to keep the pace down to allow the body to catch up

Ended up running in to work because I left my bike at work over the weekend (ran home on the 27th).

Considering I wasn't expecting to run in...and I had a large amount of coffee, it wasn't too bad. Only nearly shit myself 3 times.

Had to squeeze it in during lunch as longer day friday and away for work Sat, Sun, Monday. Will try and use base gym Saturday for squats.

Not bad dl considering not deadlifted since the last entry. In that regards, while i'm doing a hour of cardio a day (cycle in and back)l my lifting entries and quite up to date.

Cardio
Up at 0450. Got in a 4 miler before inspection from 0700-2000.
 
Ran a few times, cycled too and from work.

A lot of illness going around and ended up having Thursday and Friday off last week to look after the wife (off as in off work)

Up early and got a 8 miler in before 0730.

Since then had a sore throat and feeling rough (felt rough when I went on said run to be fair).
Cycled in to work on 16th. Got a lift home and now having at least 17th and 18th off work.
 
Training put on hold really due to the virus taking down gyms and due to being ill still.

I hoe the migration of the server does weed out old threads like this, even though it had been updated periodically.

That would make me very sad.
 
Still been cycling too and from work. Obviously gym is shut so makes me a bit annoyed as by the back of Feb I was getting back in to the swing of things.
