For 2 reasons.

1) Jones doesn't want any of Ngannou. He had the opportunity to fight him a year ago and turned it down.

2) Ngannou will turn down the Jones fight too. That's not the biggest fight for Ngannou. If he wins the title, a fight with a top ranked boxer is dynamite PPV sales. 3 million buys easy. Plus, boxing was always Ngannou's dream. This fight will be a possibility and Ngannou will make it happen.

3) Dana is all about the money. A Tyson Fury fight is blockbuster PPV sales. Dana will take a chunk of that like he took a chunk from Conor vs Mayweather. $$$$$.

Won't happen but id watch fury destroy francis
Just put Ngannou's head where Wilder's head is and it's pretty much the same.

Would be hard to watch.... I ve seen few HW boxing like Fury. Its just incredible.

Jones wouldn't turn him down with a belt thrown in... Francis would take who he's given if he's a Champ.

Fury lol

It wouldnt do 3 million buys, not even close.

Ngannou could probably beat a few fringe top 20 kinda guys just through his power and athleticism, but Fury would toy with him most likely. Probably stops a gassed out Frank somewhere around the 8th. Ngannou doesnt bring anything that Wilder didnt already, and better.

uh NO
francis would not beat any boxer in the top 100 of ranked boxers
are you fucking kidding me?
francis would get wrecked by amateurs competing at the olympics

Francis KOs Anthony Joshua and then does a shit in the middle of Wembley stadium.

You are greatly overestimating HW boxing. There are some absolute shitters once you get past the top tier. Lucas Browne was ranked in the top 10 a few years back for fucks sake, hes still in the top 50 if we go by Boxrec ratings. Ngannou would probably go close to 50/50 win/loss if he fought the current top 100 in HW boxing, he might even win more than he lost. Lol @ thinking arguably the most dangerous striker in HW MMA history couldnt possibly hang with the likes of Joey Dawejko, Dave Allen and Tom Schwarz.

I like having Francis in the HW division but it is comical how many hardcore fans think he is the hardest hitting man to ever walk on planet earth.

Francis hits so hard in the eyes of some posters in this thread that he could last multiple rounds with Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder and potentially catch them.

Every single one of the fighters Francis has knocked out in the UFC, sans Blaydes and Jairzinho had either been previously knocked out several times or was over 35 and well past their prime.

Im not saying his knockouts are not impressive because they are, but realistically his knockout of Jairzinho is by far his most impressive. Even that knockout comes with the caveat that Jairzinho has nearly one hundred fights worth of damage between his MMA and kickboxing career.

There is a very real possibility Ngannou does not even have the heaviest hands in the UFC right now, let alone him being this once in a lifetime puncher.

Deontay Wilder actually has the power that many in here think Francis has and we saw how well he did against Fury.

Lol. Look at Wilder

Wilder actually has the power in his hands that Dana White likes to pretend to the media Francis has.

5'9 Daniel Cormier knocked Stipe out cold, Francis had twenty five minutes to do that, and did not get the job done.

I agree with the rest of what you're saying, but he absolutely would last multiple rounds with Fury and many others. Its big boxing gloves with short 3 minute rounds and standing counts, and Fury is not an aggressive fighter. It would probably go well past the halfway mark before Fury turned up the heat and Francis was tired and beaten up enough to be stopped. No way is Fury blasting him out of there inside 3 mins.
