Junior. Before the Cain fights, he did more than back up to the cage. His hands were absurd and his chin was granite. Cain unfortunately broke that.

Would be an interesting fight. JDS had a good jab and did a lot of good work with his lead hand. He also had a really good chin. I think either guy could win. The way Ngannou put it together in his last fight makes him a scary opponent though. An Ngannou who throws low kicks and is patient is going to be very hard to beat.

Frank hasn't been through those wars. Prime JDS should be able to walk through Frank.

I think JDS would’ve probably won due to speed, but not sure.

definitely prime JDS. as you mention due to the speed. plus his power and confidence back then were ridiculous. not to mention JDS is a legit boxer with beautiful technique

Isn’t it ironic that the rage he accumulated while having her as a wife is what made him such a great fighter but when he finally upgraded it was ultimately his demise and he started getting smashed badly

Prime JDS, for sure. For evidence, look no further than his fight with Shane Carwin. Carwin was essentially Ngannou during his day, except possibly an even harder hitter and a strong wrestler in his own right.
