Is there a story???

I’m 15... head to a girls house. She says her parents are going to a work celebration for her dad. She gives the signs. I’m amped up —-all week.

I get there after her parents leave. She invites me in. We talk about school, etc. awkward but excited.

Just when I think it’s a done deal... her parents truck drives up. Parents come in. Mom got sick. Goes to bed.

Dad sits down between us on the couch. I’m cursing the world. Cursing him. My life....

On the radio comes....



I’m sure he’s f’ing with my head....
