How can a guy fall this far off? His technique and skill is overrated. Maybe his athleticism is underrated? But Fedor would have a 1% chance of beating Jan right now.

He'd beat "prime" Fedor too. People nut over Fedor nonestop but the truth is Jon Jones has had a far more impressive career than Fedor. By Jones' age Fedor was getting his head bounced off the mat in Strikefarce.

But prime Fedor had top wrestling, good striking, cardio, chin and he was very fast for a HW.
He beat many guys much bigger than him while Jan cuts a lot of weight to fight at LHW

You are very likely correct. it's too bad there is no way of really knowing for sure, but I think MMA has evolved to where Jan, right now, could give a prime Fedor a really good fight. I think Jan has really put it all together and I don't really see anyone challenging him right now for the belt. LHW is really weak though, I will concede.
