I'm getting less lucky on my randomized selection of new Korean movies.

What Korean movies that have came out in the last 3-4 years were great?

The Berlin file 2013 I believe so it doesn’t quite meet your parameters but it’s my recommendation.

I don’t really go for the spy movies because they are usually dumb but this one is very fun.

Parasite was decent 6/10
The dude from boardwalk empire was good and I really believed the couples descent into madness. Mind fuck of a movie.
I was surprised it was Korean but the more you know I guess.

It’s an unpopular opinion but sympathy for mr. Vengeance is my favorite one of the vengeance trilogy(?)
We seem to have similar taste in KMovies although bittersweet life is great it is fucking depressing it is like gut punch after gut punch.
Have you seen Yellow Sea?

The opening run is really fun. I don’t know why exactly but the. Beginning with them palling around and being thugs and brawling etc.. it all just plays so smoothly

I'll borrow it off the internet now and give it a watch.
I absolutely love A Bittersweet life. I don't even own a DVD Player and I bought it on Bluray.
I downloaded the Vengeance trilogy again to give them a watch again last month but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Right now I'm downloading all the Yakuza style movies like Outrage, Street Mobster and Sonatine

Yeah the beginning is pretty funny. I wasn't aware but when they are running after the truck it was to get high off of the gas it was letting out.
