read some of his comments and he seems pretty contrite about his past mistakes and controversies, but...

ironic, the guy made all those posts on the body building boards that caused a lot of his controversy. many were racist, homophobic, but quite a few were him calling men with anxiety issues pussies, or worse.

for that to be his ultimate reasoning for leaving wrestling makes you wonder. was he just a young guy talking shit on a forum, were his problems already there and he was projecting?

guess I lean towards projecting, since he was also homophobic as hell whilst also doing gay porn.

You named people who were all superstars that were over other places and they all were extremely talented on top of their size.

Lars isn't a superstar, hasn't been over anywhere, and doesn't have the talent yet. Him being 6'3" with a wide body doesn't mean auto success in Japan. He would actually have to work hard and get booked correctly.

I can't even think of a promotion that would want him. New Japan already has a stacked roster. NOAH doesn't really use many gaijins outside of short stay tours and they already have a way more talented big gaijin that they bring in for tours with Alex Hammerstone. All Japan has a stacked roster right now and they already have talented big gaijins like Joe Doering and Dylan James.

Could he be brought in somewhere and be booked correctly to get over? Sure, but his size alone won't do it, and I don't even see a reason for any company to bring him in cause he's not that good yet and he's a massive flake that no shows.

What about Scott Norton? He was only over in Japan, 2x IWGP heavyweight champ and 2x tag champ. And Albert was more over in Japan than the US.

That doesn't mean they were over in Japan solely because they're big. Neither just showed up in Japan and were instant superstars, they actually had to get booked correctly. Norton spent years as a tag guy before he ever got a singles push and he didn't get that singles push until he was in the nWo. Albert had the majority of his success as a tag guy because he didn't work out as a singles guy.


If Lars showed up in Japan and stunk it up in the ring and didn't get booked right, the Japanese would give him a polite clap when he wrestles, because they're nice people, but he wouldn't be over lol

I'm sure if Gedo got ahold of him in New Japan, he would be able to book him correctly and get him over, but solely being big ain't enough.

I never said that you said that. Other people bring them up as examples of "big guys over in Japan" like they were only over because they were big.

You said he could be popular in Japan because of his size. I asked you "why because of his size", that's it.
