Let’s be honest, that Bucks team wouldn’t have beat a fully healthy Nets

No shit, they wouldn't beat a healthy Lakers or healthy Clippers and they probably wouldn't beat a healthy Suns.
 
If KD's shoe size was a bit smaller, the Bucks would have lost.



But still, I'm very happy for Giannis.
 
It really was a season with whoever stayed fittest wins.

All teams full strength and you probably get lakers vs nets in the final.

But these teams did a great job with a bit of luck to be there.

Congrats to the bucks, they could have still bottled it and didn't.

The last 10 seasons were asterisks. It’s why I don’t watch the NBA anymore

2021: Nets were injured. Suns didn’t play a healthy team all playoffs
2020: They played in a bubble lmao. Enough said. LeBron and Day to Davis getting months to recover. Bam and Dragic injured in finals
2019: KD/Klay got injured in the finals. Kawhi got a lucky bounce vs Philly
2018:Chris Paul injured. Rockets missing 27 straight 3 pointers will never happen again
2017: Zaza injured Kawhi
2016: Draymond got suspended. Bogut injured
2015: Love and Kyrie injured for finals
2014:lack of AC gave LeBron cramps
2013: Heat didn’t have to play #1 seed OKC because Beverley injured Westbrook
2012: Heat didn’t have to play #1 seed Bulls because Rose tore his ACL and Noah got injured

Plenty of other seasons too, like 2007 (Amare/Diaw bogus suspension) 2006 (DWade shooting a million free throws) 2002 (Lakers/Kings was rigged) 2001 (Sixers/Bucks was rigged) 1997 (Pippen goaltending not called) Rockets back to back titles because Jordan retired/was rusty, 1989 (Magic injured during finals). Don’t get me started on all the titles the Celtics won when there were like 10 teams either

If KD had payed attention, which he should have, Anything could have happened. But he got outplayed in OT by Giannis

They lost a starter that they really like and we all saw Giannis knee bend so far it went inside out. He toughed through it but no way was he healthy.
