Looking for insight on first pair of MMA gloves and heavy bag

Started training Krav Maga recently. Want to workout and practice at home. I have a basement I’m thinking will be good for heavy bag. What should I look for?

Not sure what to look for in mma gloves either. Thanks

I would get a 100lb heavy bag. Regular or thai (6 feet) depends on your liking.

As for gloves ? Why MMA instead of regular boxing gloves ? Boxing gloves will offer way more protection for you knuckles and wrists.
