"A female nurse was punched in the face “multiple times” and knocked to the ground in a vicious attack by a man who claimed his wife had been vaccinated without his “authorisation”.

The shocking incident occurred in a pharmacy in Sherbrooke, Quebec in Canada on Monday morning, after a man stormed in and accused a female nurse in her 40s of vaccinating his wife.

Police spokesman Martin Carrier told CNN the man the nurse was seriously injured in the attack, which has stunned the Canadian population.

“Right at the beginning, the suspect was very angry, very aggressive, he asked the nurse why she vaccinated his wife without approval, without his consent,” Mr Carrier said.

“And he punched her right in the face multiple times so the nurse didn’t have the time to defend or explain herself … and she fell to the ground and the suspect left running out of the drugstore.”

The nurse was rushed to hospital by ambulance after the attack and was treated for “multiple injuries to the face” and a possible concussion...

While police do not have a photo of the suspect or footage of the incident, they are calling on the public for help in tracking him down.

The man is described as being aged between 30-45, with short dark hair, dark eyes, thick eyebrows and a tattoo of a cross on his hand."

holy shit what a degenerate scumbag. his wife clearly went to the pharmacy to get vaccinated on her own will and he thinks he has authority over her and viciously assaults a nurse? pretty surprised the story is from canada as well. i hope that he is able to be found very quickly and they include double vaccination as part of the punishment he receives.

That’s low. Surprised they have no footage, I would have thought all pharmacies would have CCTV due to being a obvious target for robbery
Sherbrooke has 37 square miles of urban development and 161,000 inhabitants.

And no security cameras in or around their pharmacy or roadway intersections in 2021?

Authorities know the woman is but can't find out who the husband is? Witholding the name too.

I imagine it is possible in some budget Quebec pharmacy cameras might only be pointed at certain places, like storage areas and the counters. So this incident could have taken place in a blind spot.

Do they know who the woman is? I think this guy just showed up out of nowhere acting like a complete lunatic and his wife was not even at that location being vaccinated at the time. Probably not even the right nurse or even pharmacy lol.

How do they not have any photos or footage in a pharmacy, and they're "calling on the public to track him down" with only a vague description?
Better question.... How do they not know the name of the person they were vaccinating? Seems pretty easy to just find the identity of the husband off that.

Apparently not.

"Police do not have a photo or a video of the suspect. Investigators are checking the pharmacy's vaccination records from the previous few days in an effort to identify a potential suspect."

No, apparently they haven't yet determined who his wife is. Presumably he came in and attacked the nurse well after the fact.
