Oh? how did he get the first takedown then? Conor went for flying knee,missed,and got taken down without the cage
 
I’ll bite because why not.

No illegal move can really help with the takedown unless you stuff it and get a chance to deliver knees to the head or something. Khabib probably wouldn’t leave himself open to that.

So I’m going to assume this fight is on the ground pretty quickly. Once it’s there the guy in better position is still going to be the one able to do better damage, legal or illegal. Could Conor rip off his ears or gouge his eyes? No more easily than KN can do that to him. There would probably be a mad scramble and then Khabib would get a dominant position and rip his face off.

Edit: it’s not impossible that Conor sparks him. One of these days he’s gonna catch someone quickly again and this place is going to melt down. The guy still cracks.
 
A legit wrestler is the LAST guy you want to fight in a street fight.
 
Lol it's always funny when somebody says he or X fighter could beat Y fighter if only he or X fighter was not held back by rules, as if Y fighter wouldn't be able to kick in the crotch/eye gouge/hit in the back of the head/stomp/knee on the ground as well. You really think only Conor McGregor would be able to knee somebody in the head on the ground, and Khabib wouldn't be able to?
 
They already did with Herb Dean officiating.
 
Well let's see if no rules and Khabib doesn't honor the tap Conor would be dead.

I agree it should be legal. Why isn't it?

So you can knee somebody to the head when you're stood up, that's OK, but not when you're on the ground? Makes sense aka doesn't.
 
I always find it hilarious that people think high level grapplers/wrestlers somehow have the disadvantage in these imaginary street fights

How am I delusional? Its apparently to anyone who watches mma that Khabib uses the cage well to aid his takedowns and in an open space he wouldn't be as effective. Not a knock on the guy but the smaller the space the more it suits khabib, the more open the space the more it suits the striker.

It doesnt have to be an open plane, I reckon the average street its more spacious than a cage so that would suit Connor more than khabib.

Oh man, Conor would literally die when khabib slammed him on the concrete and hellbowed his head into the parking lot, not to mention that whatever limb he got ahold of would be broken, and when he inevitably sunk in the choke, he would just kill him instead of releasing.

Conor may get lucky and land a 12-6 elbow to the brain stem on the single leg attempt to save himself, but it's unlikely. Khabib already showed that he can eat conor's clean legal power shots like nothing, so no reason to think his illegal shots are any danger, and/or conor is incapable of landing clean on him anyways, where as conor was blasted numeeous times and even fell down from khabibs power

Clear homicide charges for the bib if he caught connie anywhere.
