In 2014, Miocic proved his first big improvement against a very good version of JDS ( very good heart, good chin, good cardio, wrestling and boxing very solid ) , but was not at experience level of JDS ( championship round, IQ fighting was lower, lower skillest, lower clinch game ( efficient against every version of JDS )

In 2020, Miocic seems at is skillest and experience prime and still very very durable and faster than ever ( ligter and leaner )

If Miocic 2014 vs Miocic 2020 who will win ?

My prediction is Miocic 2020 would win

Yes and a little better physicaly ( even if "older" , he work very hard is strenght and conditioning )
- better cardio ( a little bit )
- more durable ( he prove it against DC )
- Faster
- Hands faster
- Punch harder
 
2014 Stipe was better

Pathetic thread to sidestep Stipe losing to purime JDS when they were both in their purime while he fought a washed up Junior in the rematch and has mostly been fighting washouts since

2014 Stipe has the edge in all of these

Specially cardio. 2020 Stipe had to wall n stall DC in the last 2 rounds with little offense he was just fighting a 40yo with no gas himself even in the 2nd fight DC was gassing pre body shots too. DCs gas tank has always been suspect back to when he slowed down VS Barnett and arguably lost the last 2 rounds. And Bones in first fight after an even first 3 rounds then disappearing in Rds 4&5

Only other time Stipe went 5 was with Francis who has 1 of the worst gas tanks in MMA and literally threw 1 TOTAL sturike in rounds 4 and 5 combined. It's easy for your cardio to appear sturonger against poorly conditioned fighters like DC and Francis

OK Francis cardio was poor, but you have to deal with strenght and weigh of Francis Ngannou... It is not very simple.... You can see when Overeem took Ngannou in the clinch...

FOR DC :
DC had a good cardio man ! Better than Prime JDS ! Have you seen the stats ! He land and connect more time Stipe in the rematch in 4 round than JDS the first time in 5 round !
Guy landed 317 shots and connect 162 times on the Stipe head ! Nobody at HW can pressure like it ! I promise you if Prime JDS landed and pressure like, he would gas after 2 rounds !
 
Stipe can def beat Stipe

Even if he has a bigger skill set in 2020, he doesn’t use it half the time. In both DC rematches, he would learn a new skill and forget one. It’s like he can’t have more than a few in his head at a time.
 
Stipe at UFC 252 was the best we ever saw (Cormier 3).

I've never seen him so diverse in a fight. He fixed as many holes as he could. He was moving better than ever, his hand speed was great, his power was still there despite him being lower in weight, and he out wrestled Cormier.

Just compare him in the 1st DC to the 3rd DC fight. Cormier said he saw the opening to KO Miocic when he was studying the JDS fights. So it's clear that he got better later on in his career. Naturally he isn't going to be as durable, but his skillset is still better than it was.
 
If Stipe 2020 starts beating Stipe 2014, he will change his past and start suffering from the shots he inflicted to his past self. The more he hit him, the more damaged his own brain will become. If he hits him too much, he may affect the career of Stipe 2014 and potentially take way more damage between 2014 and 2020.

So Stipe 2020 will decline abruptly as the fight goes, until he loses. Inevitable.

Study physics guys, or watch time travel movies.
