So what do you guys think ends up happening in DC?

Do the Nats keep Rendon or Strasburg?

If it were me, I'd pay Rendon. They already have solid pitching even without Stras. Dat pitcher liability.

Have the Mariners been sold off to someone that is moving them to Montreal yet?

No? Then still fuck this gay Earth.

Kyle Lewis will save them lol. Seriously, what the fuck is that team planning to do? They managed to trade everyone off. Will they even bother signing anyone worth a shit this offseason?

They'll fuck up the tank somehow.

EDIT:
They basically did this year. Sell off everyone but the albatross contract that is Seags.... proceed to win out the first month and then spattering success only to collapse and punch any fans in the dick

Any Brewers fans here to provide some insight on this trade? Urias was one of our highest rated prospects but hasn’t really panned out in the bigs. He can play both short and second though.
Getting Davies is big. He's certainly not a world beater nor does he have crazy stuff, but he can be a solid number 3 starter.

Grisham played okay when Yelich was out.

Wonder how much of that is deferred.

Wonder how much of that is deferred.

Should be interesting to see the amount.
"There are no opt-outs or options in the contract, a source said. Some of the contract money is deferred. Gauged before the deferrals are assessed, the contract carries the highest average annual value — $35 million — for a pitcher and tops the prior record for total value for a pitcher — David Price’s $217 million — by $28 million. Those records are expected to be short-lived, as Gerrit Cole remains unsigned as is being pursued by the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels, among others."

Terrible contract. Straw is a terrific pitcher but he always gets hurt. He’s thrown 185+ innings in a season exactly twice.

Bought a first round pick/prospect, I'll take it

Jesus Christ at that Cole/Yanks deal.

Largest contracts in sports history:

Giancarlo Stanton: $325 mill
Gerrit Cole: $324 mill

Both MLB. Both Yankees players.

EDIT: totally forgot about Harper, lol

Cole got 9yrs 324million. Damn.

If only the Yankees weren't dumbasses, and traded for him years ago.
