I'm not really recoil shy .
However a couple I went "ok that was interesting ".
Shot a 44 mag Derringer that was WTF.
A 470 nitro it was a guy I knew that had it. I shot it twice. It a standing position on a rest. I did not look forward to the second shot. However that was the deal. To shoot it free I had to shoot it 2 times. One after the other or pay for the ammo and lunch. I ate with my left hand and I think that basted actually won the bet.
The most memorable was a double barrel 12g when I was 13 and a friend and I had a challenge to pull both barrels with 4 shot. It's a wonder any males of my generation made it to adults.

A bolt-action 30-06. Felt like I separated a couple vertebrae. Was ready to pack up and go home after that.
