Neo footwork drill

So, that's a concept that makes sense to me, how would you go about training it, because surely there are more efficient ways than switch stance training?

I never dig in it deep enough, 'cause both of my boxing coaches were straight supporters of that "only one proper stance" policy brother @StopDucking mentioned :D.

it sounds similar to the “functional patterns” movement style of training, imo
